  1. If you’re looking for someone to tell you no, you’ve got the wrong guy
  2. According to Arccos over my last 10 rounds last season, driving was the strongest part of my game and it wasn’t even close. Approach was by far the worst, and I’d say this held pretty true with how the season finished. My driving is easily the most inconsistent aspect of my game. If it’s on, I am in good position to shoot my better scores. When it’s off, it’s disastrous. I attest a lot of my struggles with approach to chunking shots or having to hit punch outs from bad drives. Worked really hard this offseason on my swing and hoping to see it translate to more consistency this season.
  3. Black and white both look great as well as the snow camo. Heck the black camo too
  4. Good morning fellow MGS’ers and happy Saturday! Super early morning as the kids always decide to get up at the crack of dawn both days of the weekend and then sleep as late as possible during the week. Funny how that works Most likely heading to Madison today to get our oldest son a baseball helmet and some other gear for his first year of little league. All players are required to have their own helmet and he’s got a pretty big noggin, so the helmet size selection at Walmart doesn’t quite cut it
  5. I think the best part is that whichever bag you go with, it’s gonna be a showstopper. They are all so good looking.
  6. I had some initial pause with that on the Oreo as well, but as a profuse sweater even when I play cart golf, I thought the ventilated padding may play in my favor when I walk since I don’t have a push cart.
  7. Logo only for me as well but they sell extra pockets soooooo
  8. I own the Spider Tour Platinum that is the exact same mallet style as the ones you linked. Was my gamer for multiple years until last year when I won a Scotty Cameron in a giveaway. If not for that it would still be my gamer. IMO, the pure roll inserts always felt really good and produced a nice sound and consistent roll. Weighting was great, and overall I think just a really good putter.
  9. Correct There isn't a set timeline yet, but when the Jones bag was done last year it was about a week. @GolfSpy_APH was there ever a set time frame for when ordering would not be available after a certain date?
  10. It is probably a pretty safe bet to say that my Rocketballz irons weren't great for me as they were not fitted. I did have them extended 1" by 2nd swing before having them shipped, but that only goes so far. This was well before I knew how big of a deal things like that were lol
  11. @GolfSpy SAM loves his DF2.1, and while I do not game a LAB, the DF3 and Link both have my attention. Just put a Scotty into the bag last year which has treated me very well, but I don't think I'll ever rule out a LAB if the opportunity arises someday.
  12. Good morning all and for one of the first times in my life, I say this with a grain of salt, Happy Friday Why the lack of enthusiasm on what is typically one of the best days of the week you may be asking yourself? After all, March Madness is under way, Bucky plays tonight, and I should be done at 12:45pm. Wellllll......Mother Nature decided we need not one, not two, not three, not four, but FIVE INCHES OF SNOW overnight last night after being snow free and temps in the 40s-60s for the better part of March. Potentially a bit more coming over the weekend. Seems the first false spring of Wisconsin has come to an end. March came in like a lamb, so naturally it will go out like a lion lol. In all seriousness, happy Friday MGS crew!
  13. Can't wait to see some in hand photos of these clubs!
  14. Great call again today as always!
  15. Welcome to the forum, @Daltonhendrix98! Great to have you here and sounds like you have a fantastic setup! Would love to see some photos!
  16. Best Purchases: Titleist TSi3 driver Taylormade Burner Superfast 2.0 Rescue (first real purchase I ever made and a club I got rid of once, bought again and will never get rid of it) FootJoy Hyperflex Shoes (Most comfortable I've ever owned, got the latest model last year, probably won't own many other than FJ's) Both my boys' sets of clubs as they love coming out with me and are learning the game at a young age (This is THE BEST) Taylormade Spider Tour Platinum Putter - got a screaming deal on eBay, like $71, and it was brand new Worst Purchases: Taylormade Rocketballz Iron/Hybrid set - thought I "needed" to upgrade from my TM RAC OS irons and never hit them as well. Lasted one season before I moved on. Also traded in my first superfast 2.0 rescue with this purchase. Overall major loss lol. Nike Stand Bag (can't remember the model) - Got this after graduating college and bought it more or less for looks before I really knew anything about equipment. It ripped by two pockets after about a month, got it replaced, that one did it in the same spots, got it replaced AGAIN and then just sold it and went with something else.
  17. I by no means have a huge head, but it's also not small. With snapback caps I typically am two or three dots away from not being able to snap them at all. I got a Puma hat last year that is incredibly comfortable and also very lightweight. I'd give them a look for sure. Titleist/Footjoy hats I have had luck with as well. Not a fan of stretch/flexfit as like others said, I just end up with a headache. Much prefer snapbacks.
  18. That’s a much better deal than the social membership where I belong. You get 10 rounds of 18 with cart, unlimited range and 5% F&B purchases go towards following year membership and it’s $1,000 if you purchased it now. Was $850 before 12/31/23
  19. Good morning fellow spies and happy Thursday! One step closer to the weekend, and unfortunately the impending snow storm , coming our way. My favorite time of the year, aside from Masters Weekend, is about to begin. NCAA March Madness is upon us! Will be taking in an obnoxious amount of college basketball over the next month as I hope to see my Badgers return to midseason form and make a run to the Sweet 16 or possibly further. @GolfSpy_APH, congrats on the very well deserved HQ recognition. The passion, energy and effort you put into what you do here at the forum is the primary driver for what this fantastic place is today. Thankful to have been a small part of it to this point, and looking forward to MANY more years!
  20. VCT tags are gonna look fantastic on these bags
  21. Mine is going into use as well. I really like my Cobra cart bag, but the Oreo is gonna be a showstopper. And yes, I’ll be cleaning it after every round if I see any dirt Like @Preeway it may be weather dependent slightly, but it’s too damn sweet to not have in play. Besides, I want questions asked on the forum badge so I can recruit new members
  22. All the CC information was filled in. If not for a brief thought about whether I'd be alive to actually use it, it would have happened
  23. The shoe bags are SICK! The utility pouch is also really cool, even though I have zero need for it. The olive and tan gloves were tempting too, the blade headcover....boy oh boy I could get carried away
