  1. Looks like an awesome setup! I wonder what happened with Justin Rose and Honma - huge loss for Honma in my estimation. I have always had a slight bias against them (and Ping for that matter) because they pushed in-house shafts; it felt a little gimmicky. I’m glad you had a great experience with then though, and I’ll have to check them out next time there is a demo days around here. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

  3. Very interesting perspectives! Thanks for putting this out there - what did you end up keeping/using? Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  4. For golf-hoes like me, who like to tinker/trade/sell, WRX offers the best ho-ing experience that I have found. People are generally respectful and reasonable. However from an equipment review (official / unofficial) or original content perspective, I much prefer MGS. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

  6. How long have you been playing golf? Handicap / Score? I started swinging a club when I was under 10, but didn’t start golfing until I was 13 (stopped playing baseball). I am mostly self taught, but have had a few professional lessons over the years. While I played high school golf, and shot mid-80s consistently, wasn’t able to play as much as I wanted or needed to be better until recently. I am back to shooting in the mid-80s, 10-11 handicap, looking forward to getting to single digits this year! What do you love about golf? A few things: the personal challenge each time you go out; it is outdoors; very social game; it’s something I can teach to my kids, and; my wife loves to play as well. What brings you to MGS? Do you already know other spies? I guess I had been following in the shadows for several years, reading driver/ball reviews, trying to hone the game. At some point, I felt it would be productive to give back some of what my golf experiences have been, thus I’m here! Where are you from? Home course? I live in Troy, Mi and my home course is Oakland University (Katke/Sharf). What are the best and worst things about golf in your region? The best are all the golf options that we have available to us and a pretty vast community of golfers. Once the weather is nice, it’s tough to find a tee time (especially this year). Worst is winter. Although it provides us with a good excuse to head south at some point. What do you do for a living? I am an accountant for a financial services company. Looking forward to learning more from each of my fellow spies! WR Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  7. I purchased the driver at one point and had to return it. I requested an x-stiff shaft and what I received was a wet pool noodle instead. Interesting marketing, terrible club. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  8. After 2 rounds, I think my only complaint would be that the toe wear (slight toe drag on follow through) was a little too fast, otherwise they are super comfortable, and have excellent grip. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  9. Good luck with your journey! I’ve enjoyed my ST190 (albeit a different profile); Mizuno has definitely put out a much more competitive line top-to-bottom. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  10. Absolutely - unless you’re a 10 1/2 I wouldn’t be able to help (even then, not sure I am selling...) Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  11. I got them off their website. My first pair. Just wore them in the back yard and they are super comfy. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  12. I was lucky enough to get my hands on a pair of the True Linkswear Masters edition, Original - Green Jacket shoes. Maybe it was the fact of being cooped up in the house, the Masters being postponed, or my intrigue with smaller golf brands with the same or similar views of how golf should be played (walking and in any condition), but I felt drawn to these the moment I saw them. When they arrived and after a thorough cleaning, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality comfort and feel. Furthermore, the color, while seeming a little unique or exotic, surprisingly felt versatile and unique. The toe box, feels roomie, and appears larger than it is (likely due to the white color), but the traction feels just as sturdy as any spineless shoe I have owned. While I haven’t had an opportunity to wear them on the course, my only concern at this point is keeping them clean. I’m looking forward to my next stroll in the park in my new shoes. A few pics for anyone interested. Be safe - WR Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  13. Played two rounds with the new ST190 - it has been long and straight for me. Only one drive in the two rounds have resulted in a lost ball. Longest drive was 365. I think I may need to move back a set of tees so I can hit it more often. I am really enjoying the new addition to my set. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Tier 5: Keith Mitchell Winning Score: -14 Thanks for the opportunity! WR
