Here's a few pictures of my Byron Morgan Epic Day putter.  This one has been in my bag since September 2014 with no end in sight.  The head weight is 350 grams (or close to it).  It still felt a bit light so I added a couple strips of lead tape on the leading edge of the sole.  I finally put this on my swing weight scale today and it came in at E3.75.  That's a bit heavier than I thought it would be but that makes sense since the Salty Mid-Plus putter grip is 37g.  Adding the weight of the tape buildup it's probably 45g so about 10g lighter than what I had on it originally.  It is 34" in length.  It simply works and performs so well that I will not touch anything on it.  All I can say is I love this putter.

Having been around 3D printing for over 20 years, I think this is an unique application of the technology.  In the early days, one knock on 3D printing technologies was that they could make parts that were basically un-manufacturable in the real world.  Prototypes easily made with 3D printing technology had to be redesigned for effective and efficient manufacturing.   As you can imagine, it often lead to heated discussions between the design and manufacturing communities.   Now that disadvantage has become an advantage.   The advent of new materials and scaled up manufacturing capability yielded the perfect application for the printing technology.  Complex shapes with effectively distributed weight and stiffness that could not easily be made by other means.  Bravo Cobra!

That is a let down on the face balance only as that Agera with the open middle look absolutely great, but love a good slant neck on a mallet. Overall great looking line up and the continued partnership with SIK is interesting but nice to see. That SIK face and 3D printing gives them a great marketing/tech story on the putters which is not always something the marketing team has to talk about given the limited tech in putters.
Also interesting to see the move to the 3D printed nylon to save weight then build it back with those inserts. The lattice and 3D printing seems to give the advantage to use a material like that with the lattice to save that weight.

I dig the GrandSport 35, but not so much the $350 price tag. Was hoping that being 3d printed with with the new plastic material inside would help keep the costing lower as well as help on the MOI. I was wrong...

As a huge fan of Cobra/Puma aesthetics, oh my. Those look gorgeous!
Looking forward to trying them out, especially the Agera & Stingray-40.

I have  a mevo+ and I have now used it 4 or 5  times. I can give you some pros and cons but I still have a lot to learn and figure out on it.
To start I have only used it outside at a driving range, so I have not seen how it works inside or into a net yet.
    Pros:
It seems to be pretty accurate and  set up is easy. It has essentially any stats you would need and you can record your swing from whatever device you are using. It really helped me dial in my numbers on distance and on swing speed/ball speed. This is kinda both pro and con.... the price. it is an expensive unit but for the price and compared to how expensive the higher end ones are it looks like a very fair price.
    Cons:
The battery last about an hour but  to me when it gets to be low battery it does not work as well. It does not pick up shots every time like when it is full battery. If you are using the app on your phone I suggest a portable battery charger because it kills your battery.  If you use something else like an ipad you need a hot spot or a Wi-Fi to be on for it to work.(Unless I totally missed how to make it work without Wi-Fi) It also showed me how terribly inconsistent of a ball striker I am....... Like I  said I am new to using it and I learn something new every time I use it. another tip is to change the sleep timer in the settings the first time you set up the session to something longer than 30 seconds. I set it to the max of 120 seconds  just so I don't have to worry about it going to sleep in the middle of a swing, and I don't have to feel rushed, i can take my time hitting the balls.
The accuracy on the numbers it gives you are obviously not going to be as accurate as the higher end models but I would say this little machine does pretty well for its price point. I have a pretty high swing speed, so I was nervous it may throw it off when i use driver or my long drive driver but it catches the speeds of everything.
If you guys have questions about it specifically let me know and I can try and answer them to the best of my ability.

How long have you been playing golf? What’s your handicap or normal score?
I have been playing since 1996 or something like that. I had my peak in the early 2000's when most of my friends were reasonably even. Then some became too good and others simply quit playing. The last 12 years or so I haven't played much. Mostly because I haven't had any steady golf buddies and playing alone... no thanks! In my teens I was not the most ambitious, but the lowest hcp achieved was 11. With the new hcp system I'm currently a very inconsistent 17,9.
What do you love about golf?
It has been different things as the years have passed. When I was younger it was simply to score as good as possible, lower my hcp. It didn't matter if I was lucky or not. Now I'm more about trying to find consistency on a level I'm comfortable with. Deep inside, even if I try to be reasonable, I still dream of playing a course on par, and I will work towards that kind of stability, even if it's a tall order. But that is one thing I love about golf, to challenge myself.
What brings you to MyGolfSpy? Do you already know any other Spies?
I believe I googled for opinions about golf bags suitable for JumboMax XL grips and ended up here. I've always been a nerd, but not so much in golf... until Bryson DeChambeau appeared! Now I'm full of thoughts and ideas and what could be better than a forum like this? I don't know anyone here, yet.
Where are you from? What is your home course?
I'm from Sandviken, Sweden. My home course is Högbo GK. It has one 18 hole course and one 9 hole course. I usually play the 9 holes because that's usually what the ones I play with want. I do prefer 18 holes though.
What are the best and worst things about golf in your region?
Best thing is that it is reasonably close to where I live (I wish it was closer, but still... 😅), about 5km. Worst thing is that I can't play all year around, and if the summer is bad weatherwise, it might ruin the relatively short season.
What do you do for a living?
I work in a kind of laboratory, performing all sorts of tests to metal strips used for everything from razor blades to dress the inside of a nuclear reactors. Check that the material is as good as we promise our customers.
How’d you pick your user name?
It has followed me on many places, perhaps too many! I tried it here and it was available, and here I am!
