TaylorMade has introduced three new products designed to elevate your golf game: the P·770 Irons, P·7CB Irons, and the Hi-Toe 4 Wedge. We’re looking for six golfers—two for each product—to test, review, and keep these clubs. This is your chance to see if TaylorMade’s claims hold up when these clubs are put to the test by real golfers like you!

What you’ll be testing

TaylorMade P·770 Irons: These irons are crafted for golfers who desire a blend of distance and forgiveness within a compact design. The hollow body construction with SpeedFoam Air aims to combine power with precision, while also providing a soft feel on impact. They’re said to be perfect for those who want to shape their shots without compromising on distance.

TaylorMade P·7CB Irons: Aimed at golfers who value precision, these cavity-back irons blend a traditional look with modern engineering. They are built to deliver high levels of control and feedback, allowing for a variety of shot shapes. This should make them a top choice for those who prioritize accuracy and feel.

TaylorMade Hi-Toe 4 Wedge: This wedge is designed for versatility in short-game scenarios. Featuring full-face grooves and a high-toe design, it’s engineered to enhance spin and control, especially when executing open-faced shots. It’s intended to perform well in a range of conditions and lies, making it a go-to option for short-game enthusiasts.

The testing opportunity

We’re looking for six golfers to thoroughly test these clubs, focusing on their performance, fitting experience, and durability over time. Whether it’s on-course feedback or data from a launch monitor, we want detailed insights that will help the MyGolfSpy community understand how these clubs truly perform.

Great opportunity! I would love to see how these compare to my MG3s. Plus my instructor is a Taylormade fitter so this would be super easy to get the fitting done.

When I got fit 5 years ago I was between the Titleist T200s and the Taylormade P790s. Hit the p790s longer, but preferred the look/feel of the t200s so went with those.  Loving the look of these new TM P770s  and would love the chance to test them out.  Regardless of getting selected or not I'll be following this one with a lot of interest.

I've been ready to play the Hi-Toe since it was first introduced, and now fitted to my swing!

64 years old

been playing over 65 years

had to learn to manipulate a wedge while growing up on San Francisco's Municipal courses with very hard greens

when I'm paired with any of the ladies at my home course, they always think I've hit it too hard, then the backspin kicks in

I plan to play 30 rounds September - October, plus my twice weekly round robin of practice, short game, putting, full shots, high, low, hooked, sliced. Driver off the deck, almost everything. Will be reading the forum 09/03

Would be a great opportunity to get a new set of irons, between looking for a while now. Good luck everyone.

The P7CB irons will be on my short list to try out.  I currently have a combo set of G410 5 & 6 irons with my JPX 900 7-pw.  For consistency in feel and gapping i would like to get back to a single mfg.  It would be a great experiment to compare ball flight, feel and workability between the sets.

I’m really interested to see how the P7CB’s play. I’m currently in a set of 2019 P790’s, but since the P7CB’s have released I’m really intrigued by a combo set of P7CB’s and P770’s. I feel the P7CB’s would be great in the short irons for precision, complimented by the P770’s in the long irons for a bit of forgiveness. I’m looking forward to the test results and review!

I would love the opportunity to test out a set of these irons. I have recently, finally, been able to hit irons with some sort of consistency. However, I still have a ton of room for improvement. Therefore, I would certainly be someone that could demonstrate just how much of a difference having a quality set of irons alone can improve your game. Keeping fingers crossed!

I'm very intrigued by both iron sets. I'm in the market for an upgrade so I'll be interested to see what everyone comes up with.
