TaylorMade has introduced three new products designed to elevate your golf game: the P·770 Irons, P·7CB Irons, and the Hi-Toe 4 Wedge. We’re looking for six golfers—two for each product—to test, review, and keep these clubs. This is your chance to see if TaylorMade’s claims hold up when these clubs are put to the test by real golfers like you!

What you’ll be testing

TaylorMade P·770 Irons: These irons are crafted for golfers who desire a blend of distance and forgiveness within a compact design. The hollow body construction with SpeedFoam Air aims to combine power with precision, while also providing a soft feel on impact. They’re said to be perfect for those who want to shape their shots without compromising on distance.

TaylorMade P·7CB Irons: Aimed at golfers who value precision, these cavity-back irons blend a traditional look with modern engineering. They are built to deliver high levels of control and feedback, allowing for a variety of shot shapes. This should make them a top choice for those who prioritize accuracy and feel.

TaylorMade Hi-Toe 4 Wedge: This wedge is designed for versatility in short-game scenarios. Featuring full-face grooves and a high-toe design, it’s engineered to enhance spin and control, especially when executing open-faced shots. It’s intended to perform well in a range of conditions and lies, making it a go-to option for short-game enthusiasts.

The testing opportunity

We’re looking for six golfers to thoroughly test these clubs, focusing on their performance, fitting experience, and durability over time. Whether it’s on-course feedback or data from a launch monitor, we want detailed insights that will help the MyGolfSpy community understand how these clubs truly perform.

🤯🔥🔥 wow, what an opportunity!
I’ve hit these irons and both the P770 and CB feel and look fantastic. Combo set would be epic.
I’ll definitely be keeping a close eye on this test if not selected!

Edit: since trying these irons I’ve been wondering if (hoping) there would be an MGS test to see some good honest amateur golfer experience. My 2019 P790s have too many 'hot shots' that go big and I'd love to confirm (or refute) the claims that the P770 has been engineered to remove that- I need consistent distances. I'd love to get these on course and the sim and compare numbers across a whole set rather than just the 7-iron.

@Indy_Oz, I would love to see that too. Interested in a test between the older p770s and the newest refresh. Always interested in the getting some objective data to compare the two side by side with everyday goflers. Best of luck everyone!

I have been wanting to get a new set of irons for years.  However, I am reluctant to switch.  I continue to keep using my Nike VR pro combo irons.  Historically, irons are the strongest part of my game. I am curious if these (new) irons really are better than what I have been using.

Thanks guys for this opportunity!  So much buzz right now about these irons and wedges.  TaylorMade nailed these in the looks department. And looking at the reports on the interwebs, the P770 and P7 CB look to be the top dogs this season in accuracy and dispersion.

I am currently playing with the P790’s and love them. It would be awesome to be chosen to test the 770’s or been the new High toes they look very nice.

Cool opportunity! I am gaming the Sub70 Wedges and it would be a cool comparison between the OTM and the DTC.

I'm going for the P7CBs because when I tested them with a Taylormade fitter my distances were only a touch shorter but the spin was so much better than my JPX 923 Forged. This would be an awesome opportunity to really compare, I hope they don't hold my higher handicap against me!

Love the look of that CB iron   I have hit the 770’s and they are definitely long hitting clubs.  This is a great test!

I’m thinking about moving out of the Mizuno Hot Metal because of the offset so I’ve been looking at clubs like the 770’s. So I’m anxiously awaiting either being chosen or simply reading the forum reviews!

The CB’s look great better than the MC’s! I’m more interested in testing the CB’s, I’ve never been a fan of the hollow bodies. But if selected to test the 770’s it would be a good opportunity to see if foam filled irons have improved!
