Want to contribute to the data MyGolfSpy collects?

Welcome to Testers Wanted where we recruit readers like you for objective feedback on products that roll into HQ throughout the year!

Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1x are known as class leading, and maybe even class defining golf balls, and in 2023 we're going to get a new revision to the Pro V1 lineup.  As is typical for this phase of the game, Titleist is providing little in the way of details, but short game and wind performance are expected to be a point of emphasis with the new balls.  Because data-driven objective testing is what we do, we need some of you to assess and report back to us at MyGolfSpy.

We are looking for TEN (10) US based testers to help us look for improvements from the prior models and performance differences between these two white box models.  Each tester will receive one dozen Pro V1 and one dozen Pro V1x (two dozen total) for testing.

I’ve been playing the ProV1 and ProV1x all season. Would love a chance to try the newest to compare. We still have lots of golf here in MD although conditions are a bit different.

I'd love to be part of the test!  I play approx. 3 times a week plus have a GC3 at home.  I've been playing Snell all season and have been contemplating a change.  I'd like to see how these do!  Currently a +1 handicap.

I'm a member of team Titleist and used to get the white boxes regularly but I haven't gotten one for quite a while. It was always fun when they arrived in the mail.

I'd love to test the 388 Proto's. I currently play Pro V1's and I'm really curious to see what changes have been made. Particularly off the tee. I love the feel and how much control I have around the green.

I've played the 2021 ProV1 and ProV1x extensively, having switched from the X to the regular mid-year.  I made the switch primarily because I was seeing too much spin in my short- and mid-irons.  Switching to the ProV1s made a slight but noticeable difference on-course and I enjoyed the softer feel, especially around the greens.

I'm a 1.0 handicap with 165mph driver ball speed.  I have a GC Hawk simulator setup at my house, which I use regularly.  I know my numbers and would love the opportunity to test to see whether there is a quantifiable difference between the two new models, and as compared to the 2021 balls.

Should be an interesting test to compare the two and see the difference.   Very similar to the Maxfli Tour and Tour X tests last season, except this time we're testing the best of the best!

Used to play the ProV1x but have switched the last few years to Bridgestone BX and BXS, with some ProV1 mixed in. I don’t like the harder, “clicker” sounding X and want a softer feel especially around greens.
Driver Swing speed 105ish, pushing for more with speed training. I have a hard time telling a difference between the BXS and ProV1 and would like to compare on Trackman

I would love to test these out. I have a mevo+ and would love to see hard numbers next to the version of Prov1's that I use currently.

Would love the opportunity to play evaluate and report on these. I'll be playing in both bent grass and Bermuda in the next couple of weeks.

The 2021 ProV1 was by far my favorite ball of all time. Excellent feel in short game and exceptional feel off the putter. If the newest model is better would be amazing. Would love to test. ❤️

I've been playing the TP5's but bought some older PV1's to test and idk if it's a mental thing, but I've been losing less of PV1's. Either the ball is helping, or .... haha.

Now that it's almost winter season, i'll be playing indoor golf so i would like to compare the results of the TP5, PV1 (older) and the new ones if possible from an newer golfer standpoint.

Several years ago I tested a Titleist ball that I am pretty sure was the Velocity.

I play in Veterans Golf Association tournaments and on a weekly basis, if not more.  Would love to test another golf ball from Titleist.

This is my favorite!  I love testing golf balls ... especially when they are Titleist!  I've got a good short game practice area at my home club perfect for testing.  Always start from the green back 😉   then take it to the course.  Plus they will be great to hit off the new irons I finally got in the bag (T200 & T100S) ... still awaiting my TSR3.  Hopefully next week 🙂

Used Titleist since Professional 90 days, now V1x left dash!  Always a consistent product!  Have used Pro V1s since they first came out.

Thanks for the opportunity. Not sure if I'll be picked, but I have an indoor Foresight simulator setup, so I can really dig into the numbers. Good luck to all!

Just signed up, so not sure if that means my chances are slim to none, but I would love to test, in part because these are the two balls I play, and being a feel player my entire life, I have depended on the sensitivity of my hands for feed back on ball performance.  I am acutely aware of what a ball feels like, the quality of strike I have put on it, and how that ball differs from others.   Thanks for giving us all a chance, I am sure the results will be interesting reading.

I live in Knoxville TN and pretty much play year round in various degrees of wind, temperature, and just about every other weather changes. I believe this area to be a great area to test golf balls and equipment because of the variety of weather we have. Good luck to everyone, and to me😄.
