  1. @Dead Solid Bogey most important part is to enjoy yourself and the company of those also involved. Awesome news to hear that you have been cleared to play again!
  2. Ventus TR Blue in my driver, and Project X Hzrdus Gen 4 in fairway woods and hybrid. Fitted for them as they suit my swing and give me the best results for distance and dispersion.
  3. Good morning Spies on this first Saturday of May here in Michigan. Be sure to check out the most recent announced testing opportunity, quite certain many here will be interested. I wish that I could say that I only have been awake for a little while, but still working on breaking the early morning wake-up schedule. For me it will be a full day of previously planned events supporting Leader Dogs, but it also allows numerous opportunities to interact with people and socialize, so they usually are fun things to do. Did manage to spend some time at Carl's Golfland yesterday with SWMBO along. It was a rainy day, I bought a putter grip, actually practiced with a few different putters for a couple hours while SWMBO perused the store for womans clothing, as they had a massive sale for the upcoming Mother's Day here. Fortunately, it wasn't too bad of a hit to the wallet, and she had an enjoyable time, and I got some practice in. Hope that your day is the best it can be, no matter what is in your plans, and that something fun and enjoyable makes up your day.
  4. Happy Birthday @pgareject87, @wharfrat, @RohanVster, @jdischy, @1nflteam, @MadisonGolfbum, and @sandwedge59 Make your day the best it can be.
  5. I agree with you Chris, @cnosil as I tend to be a minimalist when it comes to adding items to a bag. Just tossed this idea out for those who may want the option to make additions.
  6. I know more than one person mentioned this concern of having more places to attach things too. I have used the item pictured in the past for an automotive issue, it does not have a "button snap", but what if one considered removing the "ball marker" from the snap on the bag and instead found some 3/4" or 1" wide nylon, made it into a loop, and then you could use carabiner clips around the nylon strap to attach your extra items. I have considered doing this to mine, although with my Motocaddy test starting soon, my Ghost Bag will see less duty this summer.
  7. As mentioned before this, possibly a hybrid club or maybe a 4 wood. Both would have more loft and less shaft length than a 3 wood and may be what you are looking for. If the 4 wood would just increase the distance of your 5 wood, you also could consider moving on from the 5 wood to a 7 wood for better yardage gapping issues which potentially could arise.
  8. Date 05/02/2024 Course Name Timberwood Golf Club Gross Score 76 Course Handicap 2 Gross Strokes over/under par 4 Net Score to Par 2 Net Score 74 Net Birdies or better Longest Drive Played this round with 2 different groups at two different times during the day. Front 9 with some retired military friend's mid-morning, then back 9 late afternoon with regular playing partners. Front 9 hit 6 of 7 fairways, 7 of 9 greens with 17 putts for a total of 37. Had 2 bogies and a birdie. Back 9 hit 5 of 7 fairways, 6 of 9 greens with 16 putts for a total of 39. Had 2 double bogies and a birdie. Hoping to get another round in over the weekend, weather permitting. Course Rating: 69.3 Slope: 121
  9. Good morning Spies on a damp, gray and cloudy Friday here. Actually got out yesterday two different times and did get a full round in with a couple hour break between the nines. Played with some retired military friends in the morning, then met my regular playing group after they finished work later in the afternoon, evening time frame. Rain off and on today, so I hope to spend some of today preparing for my Leader Dog events tomorrow. Hope that your day is the best it possibly can be, and that something fun and enjoyable is in your plans.
  10. Happy Birthday @Fore67, @kmorforsure, @chupac78, @Deepred, and @NickyBobby Hope your day is the best it possibly can be.
  11. 4:15 Central is 5:15Eastern, and call was ended. Same time as always, those around the country/world adjust their schedules accordingly. Great call today with Gavin from ShotScope. Very informative about their company and products. With the price points they have established for their products, and the support from their customer support team, it will be interesting in seeing this company grow and succeed moving forward. They come in at lower than the other major players retail for similar products, and stand behind them. Great to see some new people join from the forum as well. @sirchunksalot Jason, I had Jamie ask your question, it was the first one, and the call has been recorded. Answer: There should be no update needed, it should change once you enter your information from the last hole finished.
  12. Jason, I will post that question if they are indeed the guest this week and can let you know their reply provided Jamie doesn't record the call again.
  13. @StrokerAce and @Erin B positive thoughts and hoping for the best outcome for all involved. Will keep you and your families in our thoughts and prayers. Our family dealt with that concern with an Aunt of mine, whose career path was a nurse that specialized in assisting the doctors during those surgeries.
  14. No 7 wood for me at this time. Just worked through any top of the bag gapping issues I had, and still use a 4 iron as longest iron with a high ball flight, and then a hybrid, and a couple fairways depending upon course I am playing.
  15. UPDATE: Received an email today with shipping information from Motocaddy. Jason, @StrokerAce and Erin, @Erin B heads-up that it is multiple packages via FedEx, and signature required. Shipping from Vista, CA to the address you would have provided.
  16. Hope that you have a great time out on the course today @William P. Thanks for mentioning Michael's birthday here, and if the call is not recorded, the members here usually give a summary in the Community Call topic. May your scores be low, but the fun factor high!
  17. Good morning Spies on a warm and sunny Community Call Thursday here in MIchigan. Thought about getting a round in today as the weather is calling for a picture-perfect day of low 70's and sunshine. May only play 9, as I look forward to the calls and want to make todays too. Hope that whatever you have on your agenda, or in your plans, that something fun and enjoyable makes up part of your day.
  18. Happy Birthday @Michael.Sandoval33, @Josh Ross, @TommyP, @TCGolfnut, @WillemG, and @uriah_04 Hope your day is the best it can be.
  19. Completed the survey much earlier, and agree additional questions may also have be asked to allow more information or details to be collected. Still should give a generalization of what those responding find important to them.
  20. @GolfSpy SAM do you have the capability to golf year-round out there in your home location? Just curious, that when the season ends here usually in November if it may be a long-term test if I sent the Motocaddy I am testing your way until springtime 2025 and you would send it back.
  21. Chuck, @cksurfdude thinking it will take me a little bit to get into a new routine, but already knowing work email is locked, and I can monitor incoming calls should not take too long to get used to the fact that I am now on my own schedule (or so I hope) Forgot to mention the one thing I absolutely will NOT miss is the daily commute through city traffic both ways.
  22. Good morning Spies on this first day of May 2024. Yesterday was a roller coaster type of day for me, as it was officially my last day at work. Wanted to make sure that all I needed or wanted to do to ensure that there was a pathway to success for those left in charge was present, but also realizing that it would be the last day to see everyone I interacted or worked with on a regular, daily basis. Biggest challenge for me now will be getting my body clock more aligned with not waking up at 4:00AM with no alarm, and on a later schedule. They had a luncheon for me on Monday, and that was a great gesture, as it showed that they cared and I mattered, as that is not a usual thing they do. Had some artwork given to me, a caricature picture by the company, and then a Corvette photo from 4 friends who do more work with their hands than use a computer. Weather here is supposed to be gorgeous for the next couple days, so I may find range time later today, and try to get a round in before we get more rain on Friday. Weekend for me looking like another charitable day for the Leader Dogs on Saturday, and possibly a round in on Sunday again. Hope that your day is the best it can be, and that something fun and enjoyable is in your plans.
  23. Happy Birthday @MEstep, @Hennbird, @Nicklas, @Wiseass10, @nmarin, @lydell54, @txgolfjunkie, and @tortise Hope your day is the best it can be.
  24. Jason, @sirchunksalot if you do get resistance from the fuel station, you may also want to check and see if your comprehensive part of the insurance policy may help offset the expenses. It truly wasn't your fault that it was filled with poor quality fuel.
