Bought the Gen V with veterans deal. Went from an early model Epic w/stiff shaft to Gen V w/R shaft. Hit it well but seemed to miss some drives left.
Fade to slice. Felt nice. Looked good. Just couldn't get "comfortable". Have switched back to my Epic.
Price point was great for wanting to upgrade my Epic. Will keep looking next year.
Had been playing Callaway PM 54 & 58 degree wedges since '19. Really, really love them. Replaced my older Callaway 50* gap wedge with an Edison 49*. Liked it so much I just added another Edison wedge to my bag. Really, REALLY like these Edison wedges!
I ordered my 1st wedge (49 deg) today. Have loved my PM Callaway wedges but taking time to test the 49. Will post my thoughts after hitting it a few rounds.
I, too, am a Snell golfer. Ordered 5 dz before the limit took effect. After hearing/reading about the new Maxfli Tour balls so much I decided to order 2 dz of each Tour ball and I'll have to say I'm VERY impressed with each Maxfli Tour ball after just 2 rds. Curious how you find/found the Maxfli vs Snell.
Roger that, and thanks for the reply. Thinking LV could be a place to start my search...... Was hoping to find a good recommendation for a known good fitter closer to my summer spot. Thanks again.
I made turning 50 my time to start using a push/pull cart. First cart was the Bagboy "pull" cart. Wheelbase was too narrow and cart would turnover when not being conscious of terrain. I bought the Clic 3.5 5-6 years ago and it's definitely a great "push" cart. A lil pricey but we'll worth it IMO. I'll be 67 this summer and I still prefer walking versus riding in a cart. Yes, I too, have knee issues but walking is what I prefer.
