  1. I've always preferred walking and play bette when I walk but a few years ago had some medical issues wish required the use of a cart and my game went down hill fast. I had surgery in the spring to correct the problem and have been getting back into walking and feel much better about my game, hitting in the 80s for the first time in years. So yes, I prefer to walk and even carry sometimes.

  4. Date 06/10/2023 Course Name Atlantic Country Club Gross Score 97 Course Handicap 24 Gross Strokes over/under par 25 Net Score to Par 1 Net Score 73 Net Birdies or better 1 Longest Drive 250 Very tight course, slope 131.
  5. I discovered the Maxfli Tour a few years ago and loved them at 30 USD a dozen price point. Dick's new price increase pissed me off and I will not use them again as it is clearly a money grab and we need less of that these days not more. I've gone to Kirkland and love the value and the performance. The idea of spending more than $30 for a dozen golf balls is insane, especially when they only cost pennies on the dollar to make. I purchased four dozen of the newest Kirklands but have not try them yet. Sill have a couple dozen left from last year's Kirklands. I will post a review after I tried out the new ones.
  6. Date 05/27/2023 Course Name Olde Scotland Links Gross Score 99 Course Handicap 22 Gross Strokes over/under par 27 Net Score to Par 5 Net Score 77 Net Birdies or better 1 Longest Drive 235
  7. Full set, all except driver. DBM Irons, raw wedges, forged driving iron 19 degrees and 3wood. Love them, built them a couple of years back and can't beat the value. So far, so great.
  8. Izzo Ultra-Lite Stand Bag white for walking carry. Nike Golf Air Hybrid black for walk with trolley and some riding cart use. Datrek DG Lite Cart Bag for riding cart.
  9. I disagree with the proposal. There is no need to reign in the distance. You can adapt golf courses for the elite to be more difficult within the tracts they play using hazards and rough. Bifurcation should never be part of golf.
  10. I use: Evenflow Riptide on driver MPF Pro Series on 3w Mitsubishi Tense on 2i True Temper Score on all 4- wedges
  11. I have an old Upswing 7 wood 21 degrees that I used to play with all the time... back when I had over 100 mph swing speed. I could hit a nice towering 200 - 225 yard shot from any where including bunkers. Unfortunately, I don't use it much anymore but working on building my swing speed back up so who knows. Many fond memories of my seven wood.
  12. Acoaxet Club, Westport, MA 14th hole, par 4 433 yds after slicing my drive 50 yards off to the right of the fairway. I could not see the pin, down hill, green on the water (harbor), I hit a 224 yard five iron for an eagle. All I saw was my playing partner at the top of the hill in the middle of the fair putting his hands in the air and dropping his club. My best and craziest shot ever.
  13. Thank you for the advice, however I've tested the Kirkland and it was a close second choice behind the Maxfli. Originally, I was fine paying a little more and actually could get them still at the $30 a dozen price. It is just the idea that just because they are popular they need to squeeze as much profit as possible; that bothers me. This price increase is NOT supply chain crap, it is purely based on greed. Ive watched their supply and they have never run out of these balls. No worries excessive greed is ever present in our society and I'm a believer in to each their own, just as it is my decision to not buy from a company that does it. Hit'em long and few
