  1. I have BOA on my Asics golf shoes. Two seasons in these shoes and I'm never, EVER going back to lace-ups. I like my golf shoes snug/tight. No broken shoelaces. Easy to put on and take off. Easy to adjust mid round.
  2. All of this is great information. I have been looking at the mezz for far too long. Time for me to jump in
  3. This is excellent. I was wary of the online putter fitting process, but this info makes me less anxious. I think I will send in my video. Thanks @golfspy_aph
  4. Great post. I was thinking about going to a putter fitting at club champion or a local independent fitter versus trying putters at PGA superstore. If he level of detail in the process is interesting to me. In the past, I have just picked up a putter off the rack or have bought a used/demo putter. This season, I finally had an experienced fitter help me with a new iron set. I want to do the same with putter and driver/FW/hybrids soon.
  5. Played 13 today. 1-9, then 10-14 front 9 was average, usual ups and downs. last hole was awesome. 370 yd right dog leg with water right my nemesis hole Usually I end up OB, in the rough or in the water because of poor decision making … Decided to hit 3 wood off the tee 3wood to 125 from the pin, left fairway hit 9 iron pin high 12 feet to right of green walked up and said to myself, “I’m making this putt.” Dead center birdie.
  6. In no particular order: ping driver L.A.B mezz- putter 7 wood vs 4 hybrid
  7. I agree with this 100% a total pain to change without this tool
  8. @rkj427 45-75 rounds a season! I am jealous. I like the idea of having two pairs of shoes. Part of the reason I put this question out there was I was heading for round and noticed I had a few worn spikes. Couldn’t fix before I played. I’m sure it didn’t affect my game much, but it certainly was something on my mind. Any spike brand/type you prefer?
  9. So how often does everyone check their spikes? and do you replace all spikes at once or one at a time? I have some worn spikes currently but not every spike is worn out i probably will replace the whole set tho I’m more curious than anything
  10. How often do you change out golf spikes? after ‘x’ rounds/weeks/months based on feel when visible wear seen ? curious to see the answers haven’t seen much written or posted about this (but only a brief search)
  11. Played 9 (par 35) shot 48 hit 4/9 GIR - so good for me (19 HCP). Driver was working and approach distance was very good. Putting was well below average. Which I should be able to remedy. Haven’t worked much on putting all season as I have focused efforts on driver and approach shots (reducing sway with driver takeaway and coordination of transition with my iron play). Also making an effort to manage the course better and aim to center of green for the most part. Poor putting was a bit of a surprise. But man, what a great feeling to see some results from practice. Overall progress. Taking a family vacation next week with no planned golf. Will play again first full weekend in august
  12. Played 18 this evening. Weather was perfect. Summer twilight golf is a favorite of mine. Played really well. Not a single triple bogey on my card, which is an accomplishment for me. Approach shots were well above my typical. Putting was probably the worst part of my game today. Can't wait until next weekend.
  13. Thanks @MattF & @rkj427 I picked up a new set of Mizuno JPX hot metal irons and T22 wedges as my "birthday present". Go Mizuno. Hoping for many pars and birdies for my birthday.
