  1. TM p790 is the OG and SUPER forgiving, Mizuno 245 has the best feel... Titleist T200s are pretty awesome all around. T150-T200 combo set is probably the magic right now though.
  2. I'm pretty butt hurt I bought my DF 2.1 a few months before the DF3 released
  3. I have the regular length DF 2.1 with the TPT, I can see how in a broomstick the benefits might be much more tangible, but in a regular length with the size and forgiveness of these heads I'm second guessing how much feedback improvement you get from the TPT (I think it might be overkill). That said I don't have the other shafts laying around to A/B with so... TPT shaft bling is next level however If I had it all to do over again I would probably stick with the Accra
  4. I concur with this, Stealth kicked my ass if I didn’t middle it…but my GOD when I did it was long.
  5. I think it's reasonable if you are going to put in the work, having a club you are working your way into is beneficial. Also "usually" less forgiving clubs will provide more feedback on where you hit the ball on the face, this in turn should help you interpret your mis hits better and help you improve. But also this game is supposed to be fun , I'm sure at a certain point all of this has diminishing returns.
  6. I assume club champion and other fitters have these heads now?
  7. I'm not sure how it could be possible to be more forgiving than the DF 2.1? If it is and they offer a trade in I would consider it.
  8. The DF 3 looks awesome, normally I would be pissed since I just got a DF 2.1 but it's been so money for me I don't even care.
  9. Here is my baby, been draining like its my job with this thing
  10. I would say if you hit it pure it sounds better, but its generally kind of pingy sounding even with the TPT shaft in it. What I will say is that I have gotten VERY used to the sound of the ball hitting the bottom of the cup...which is really the only sound I care about
  11. Mevo + can give you club data for a cost if its important to you. Personally i find it super beneficial. Face impact is awesome too. I take mine to the range all the time.
  12. I can say unequivocally I love this putter and now that I have had some time to adjust to everything it's just so freaking good. I have so much confidence now, I expect vs. hope putts drop. Lag putting is much improved and even on slight miss hits ball goes on line. This thing is just magic. The TPT shaft took some adjustment from a weight perspective, its much lighter overall than the steel shaft you would swing in a store. The feel is incredible though and you can really feel when you do or do not strike the ball pure. That said the DF 2.1 head is SO forgiving it doesn't matter nearly as much as it did with my SIK Flo C. Did this thing cost a small fortune? Yes! Was it worth it? 10000% and my score cards show it. The guys that I play with regularly have just been shaking their heads at some of the ridiculous putts i have holed over the last few weeks. I think the biggest thing for me (and I know a lot of people say this) was just getting out of the putters way and just let it do its thing. Once you trust that its gonna go on line, you just rock your shoulders and the putter does the rest...its insane. Having only tested the steel shaft in the store vs the TPT shaft I can tell you it does make a difference. It probably is more of a factor on the other smaller heads than the DF 2.1, but the feel is really really nice. I'm of the mindset that you use your putter more than any other club so investing money in something that improves things even a little bit is probably money well spent. YMMV
  13. So I just measured my hand via the sizing chart and from the crease at the bottom of my hand to the tip of my index finger is 7.5" . According to the chart that is at the top of the standard size grip range, I wear a cadet large glove in Footjoy or sometimes large or m/l in other brands, I have a large palm and shorter fingers so its hard to find a glove that fits right. Anyway I'm playing midsize grips on most of my clubs in a MCC +4 but recently bought a used 7 wood that had a MCC +4 in standard and it got me thinking maybe I'm playing the wrong sized grips. I know its mostly personal preference and I went to midsize to reduce grip pressure but is there a rule of thumb as far as when you are at the upper end of the fitment guide? Appreciate nay help in advance
  14. I also play 21 P790s and like them a lot, hit the new t200s at Roger Dunn and came away very impressed. I really loved how they look at address, especially the top line. I would imagine there isn’t much in it between the two performance wise. But you never know.
  15. Placed my order on Sept 6th and got the putter Oct 19th, they were super nice and refunded me $100 cause it took longer than usual which was awesome of them. Overall the order/fitting/and customer service so far has been really top notch!
