Any thoughts of practice in the out of doors would be quite the challenge today in Denver! This came during the overnight hours and and is forecasted to continue through the day today. 8 PM update. 14+ inches in my part of Denver, Englewood, and still snowing. 10 more hours of Winter Storm Warning to go. 63 degrees forecast for next Wednesday! Ah, life in the mountain west!

No question, play! I played Pebble Beach a number of years ago and that experience has made watching tournaments at that course so much more enjoyable. Having the opportunity to play somewhere you have only seen on TV is absolutely the best experience!

Golf shoe companies might want to take a closer look at the BOA approach La Sportiva has taken on their Cyklon and Jackal II trail running shoes.

I toured the ping factory in Phoenix a few years ago and was pretty impressed with their approach to clubmaking. I've always loved my Ping putter and would be really interested in the chance to test.

Wow. I've been fortunate to have several memories that makes it hard to say one is the greatest memory. I grew up playing the NCR South course where Ray Floyd won the 1968 PGA Championship. A really great course to learn how to play the game. I've also stood on the 1st tee and watched players coming in on 18 at St. Andrews in Scotland. But perhaps the most memorable is playing Pebble Beach in the 1980s when the greens fee was $135. Being on the course I'd only seen on TV was spectacular. And my wife got to follow along in the cart for only an additional $35!

My BOAs are performing just like the first time I put them on. The comfort of the right lacing pressure from ankle to toe can't be beat. I'm not seeing any wear or breakdown of the lacing cord. I will definitely buy another pair in the future.

I started as a caddy at 14 at NCR CC in Dayton, OH. Every Friday was caddy golf day and that is when I started playing. After caddying for several years I worked in the pro shop at the club; washing carts on Mondays, cleaning member clubs following their rounds, and eventually working the cash register in the pro shop. I played on my high school golf team. And I've been playing ever since, 52 years as of my current age of 66. I'm a BS/MS Chemical engineer by training and have been fortunate to have worked in research and development, process/project engineering, manufacturing, and engineering and contractor management.These experiences give me a broad perspective that would enable me to be a good candidate for consideration as a tester for MGS. I've also been an amateur photographer most of my life so I can capture the testing experience for our members.

Like so many other aspects of this game, confidence in the ball one plays may be as big of a motivator in which ball to choose as anything else. Feel or the perception of how a ball feels when struck is another factor. Any ball that feels like a rock the day I happen to play that brand immediately scars that ball for life.

Although I have gone through my share of putters over the years, the one that has been in my bag the longest and still is today is a Ping Anser with a patent date of 1967. This putter has the balance, feel, and look I am the most confident in playing.

Convenience fees (grrr...), now that is a topic that crosses all boundaries. An excuse for charging a higher cost for not talking to another human!

I've not considered using the snow piles in my yard to practice my bunker shots. I have confidence in the sand but will give the snow a chance. I'm sure I will have opportunities between now and spring here in Denver!

No need to set land speed records either! Tortoises and rabbits need not apply.

Out of necessity. We live in a world that minimizes human interaction for so many things we do.

I attended a week long golf school in Tucson 25ish years ago and every day started with a series of stretching exercises from head to toe. I have religiously followed this exercise routine before I play ever since and have successfully avoided injury. Arriving at the course with enough time to complete this series of stretches before teeing off really helps physically and mentally prepare me for the round. No running from the parking lot to the 1st tee just in time for me!
