  1. I went and got fitted at the end of last year and tried all the new irons. I played the taylormade mb blades and so naturally we tried every blade on the market with little to no change in distance which shouldn’t be a thing since tech has come so far. Then the fitter gave me the Callaway rogue st max iron and immediately added 20yards to each club. I ended up with them and I have to say after adjusting to the distance I’m very happy with the purchase. Never had been a Callaway guy but now I guess I am.
  2. Hello, I am not affiliated with them, just a few buddies from the navy who asked if people they new would spread their name around and so naturally I offered as they are some good dudes. I have purchased their stuff and do stand by my comments, they do have some really good stuff and so why not support some vets trying to make it. Thanks for the clarification though, I can see how I looked like a fan girl, and maybe I am lol, but I have written something on the post you are referring to so people know it’s their material I wanted to post.
  3. A few others in these threads and myself have recently come across this brand called KEA Golf and since it doesnt seem to be well known and we liked their products I figured i would put it out there for the group. They have men's golf polos and some hats, says they are working on female shirts. I have tried a few of the polos myself along with the other guys and the consensus seems to be that these shirts are amazing! Guess it was started by three military members who were tired of paying 80,90,100 dollars for golf shirts and decided they could do it better, and I have to say I think they crushed it. They even give contact to the owners for them to answer any questions, never seen that before. Not to mention it says they donate to veteran charities. Anyway, dont want to sound spammy, just thought maybe others have had similar experiences or didnt know about them and are looking to give something a try. Hit em straight guys and gals
  4. Hey man, we do a lot of content creating for our golf brand, KEA Golf, you should check our stuff out at, www.keagolf.store. But anyway, we have made tons of reels and what not across our social media platforms and while there are people that say there is a method to the madness, I'm not buying it. Stuff we expect to crush it might only get a few hundred or a thousand views while others that we dont expect much from get ten thousand views. Who knows and who cares, as long as you are enjoying the process that's all that matters. Best of luck with your stuff and hit em straight!
  5. We all have those moments of strength, when you unleash the dog inside you and absolutely crush one. That is acceptable. However, if you are the big hitter in the group or just are on your game today, wait the extra few minutes and let the group play the hole out. On the flip side, the first time it happens to me I let it go, maybe give them a little wave to say, "hey man, I know you can see me in my loud KEA Golf shirt, kind of the reason why I wear them and that was close", but the second time it happens all bets are off. That ball could end up in someone's bag, could be hit into the forest, could be stomped into the ground or run over in your cart. Crazy things happen out there and you just never know.
  6. Been playing pretty phenomenal lately, just got back from a trip to Vegas where I played TPC Vegas, and Angel Park. As an East coast guy it was nice to see the scenery change and the tracks out there were in great shape. Tried out these KEA Golf shirts, since the weather is pretty hot there, and they were awesome! In my opinion, exact same quality from the $100 brands but half the cost, and they were soft and cool which was huge for me while sweating in the desert. Was surprised to notice the ball not traveling noticeably farther than back home, as the temp was higher and humidity less, wonder why that is. Maybe relativity to sea level. Anyway, great trip, shot in the 70s and definitely cant wait to come back and try out a few more courses.
  7. For all the golf apparel junkies out there, check out KEA Golf. Company puts out great products, same materials as the $100 shirts, at a fraction of the price, and they are Veterans who give back to Veteran charities. Will be using them for our large annual golf tournament shirts moving forward. Their customer service is also top notch, you interface with the owners right away and only the owners, something I have never experienced from a golf apparel company. Cant say enough about them, definitely worth trying out! Also, in my bag: Driver- Titleist TS2 Woods- Taylormade R11S Irons- Callaway Rogue ST Max Wedges- Cleveland Putter- Odyssey Exo Seven
  8. Depends on the material and company that makes them. I know the cabretta gloves made at https://www.keagolf.store last longer than any I have had before and they donate a portion of the proceeds to Veteran based charities. Great deal for $12
  9. disclosure, this was written by some of my military buddies who asked if people they new would spread their name around. I am not an affiliate, just supporting some good guys.
