  1. Thank you! I appreciate it.
  2. Welcome, I am on the other side of Florida from you. I may have to make a trip out to Orlando area to play some of your courses though.
  3. As many have said already, it's more to get things warmed up and get the body moving. Full rotation in the backswing, make sure my swing thoughts are good for the day. After that I am able to play my best golf.
  4. Sounds like an exciting round! On average do you feel like you're hitting these irons closer to the pin than your old irons and if so by what sort of margin?
  5. Way to go @funkyjudge! sounds like a great time and like you and the Paradym irons are getting along well. Looking forward to hearing how you do tomorrow.
  6. @Golfspy_TCB I am very intrigued by this Swing ID function. Send it! Thank you by the way!
  7. It would definitely be an interesting comparison depending on the cost! I would be interested to see how it effected your accuracy with your current set.
  8. There are so many good ones out there! Rick Shiels is great! I think an underrated channel is Erndog Golf, he has just under 600 subscribers currently but puts out quality content!
  9. My 7 iron is typically about 20 yards short of that without being into the wind and in Florida temps so it's still good either way man.
  10. Sounds like a great fitting experience, 160 into the wind with a 7 Iron is solid!
  11. It's been great reading through introductions and fitting experiences so far, really looking forward to following along for the rest of the fittings and the challenges to come!
  12. How long have you been playing golf? What’s your handicap or normal score? I have been playing Golf since last July, I had a coworker invite me out and was hooked pretty soon after starting. My current handicap is 40.5 but actively taking lessons and working to get that number down. What do you love about golf? For the most part people with very different skill levels or handicaps can play together and still have a good time. I also enjoy honing my skills at the range or hitting bay and seeing the carryover to my game. What brings you to MyGolfSpy? Do you already know any other Spies? I saw L.A.B. Putters post about testing opportunities here and that sparked the initial interest. Since becoming a member of the forum I have enjoyed the vast amount of information on gear that is available from testers and general members alike. Where are you from? What is your home course? I currently live in St Petersburg Florida, the "Sunshine City" and typically play Bay Palms Golf Complex as my home course. I would play Mangrove Bay more often but it can be difficult to get a tee time. What are the best and worst things about golf in your region? One of the best things is being able to play all year round near the ocean and having so many courses available to play. I don't know that I can think of a worst thing about playing golf here... outside of maybe the popularity so the courses stay pretty busy, but with so many courses to choose from in the area you can usually find a tee time if you really want to play. What do you do for a living? I work in the logistics field for the government. How’d you pick your user name? Not much went into my username... my name is Matt.
  13. I ordered a custom Driver, 3 wood and 4 Hybrid from them Sunday and 2 of the 3 are getting here today. Callaway's logistics are definitely impressive. Looking forward to seeing the next course update on how the Paradym irons are playing for you!
