fourwaymiss got a reaction from RuleB1 in Stack Training System - 2023 Forum Member Review
Congrats, everyone!
I recently picked up the Stack for myself and my brother, and we've currently about ⅔ into the first foundational training program. I previously had another speed training system and didn't feel I was getting much out of it. The big differentiator is the app UI and the customised training programs you get through the app.
Look forward to comparing notes with the testers' results!

Hi @CFreddie! Will share some WITB pics soon.
Golf in SG is a very expensive affair. (I miss being able to walk onto my local muni and paying $30 to walk 18.)
There are only 2 public 18H courses (and 2 public 9Hs), with one of those closing in about 10 months. 😭 The rest are some really exclusive private clubs. 18H would cost over $100 SGD, while 9H could set you back $50 SGD. (If you're lucky to have friends who are members at clubs and they can invite for a guest round at over $350 SGD.)
Due to the climate (we're 3° north of the equator!), barely anyone walks - you'd collapse from heat stroke by the 3rd hole! But equally unique, we have fully lit course for us to play at night. Try reading the green when you're casting 4 shadows! 😵💫
Otherwise, it's fairly similar to North America: 4-4½ hr rounds, quick stop at the turn, 2 to a cart, rangers constantly running around to maintain pace.

Hello everyone! Been lurking around for over 2 years now, but finally thought it was time to get more involved. Really appreciate the articles and reviews - helps to read about the experiences of someone who sounds similar to me when I'm trying to make a purchase decision.
I've been based in Singapore for over 15 years now, but originally from the States. I "played" D3 golf in college, but that just meant free range and practice rounds in the Fall and Spring, as I was never selected to compete. I haven't seen that game in over 20 years, as I struggle to cross into the low 80s now.
Being in Asia, I've had the opportunity to see some really interesting equipment in folks' bags. Managed to incorporate some myself. Here's WITB:
Driver - A Grind BX-D 10° Fairway Wood - A Grind FW Type D 14° Hybrids - A Grind 2H and 3H Irons - Sterling Irons single length 4-PW Wedges - Edel Wedges 52°, 56°, 60° Putter - Scotty Studio Design 1 Ball - Bridgestone Tour B RXS, (looking for a cheaper alternative) Look forward to learning more from everyone. If you have any questions on Asian equipment, don't hesitate to hit me up!

Welcome @Paco Chan- would love to see some pictures of your WITB. Sounds like you have a truly unique setup.
Curious, what is the golf like in Singapore?
