  1. Being from WV motor power is a big concern due to the hills on most of our courses. It would be great to learn how they do on hills as well as how this affects the battery. Congratulations on being selected. Can’t wait to hear how they perform.
  2. I will be hitting my Ping 410plus with a high launch regular flex Alta CB 55 Red shaft
  3. I haven’t been on in awhile. Reasons being multiple we hit another cold spell and I had a run in with a chainsaw and lost. (See attached photo).
  4. I agree thanks. I just feel overwhelmed I have always hit steel shafts & with my reduced swing I’m strongly considering graphite. I’m headed south at the end of this month so I’m definitely getting fitted.
  5. I am wanting to upgrade my irons. I’m still hitting Titleist 990s. After3 back surgeries, not playing for the past 10 years, and swing speed dropping from 105 to 81 I’m not sure what I should get. I’m hitting my 7 a consistent 145-150 carry. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
  6. I bought a SLX micro slim on eBay. It was labeled New but when it arrived (10 days late I might add) it wasn’t new and even missing the charging cord. I was willing to deal with it and started to register it to get the free 12 month E6 , and yes it had already been registered. That was the last straw and I started a return. Just as I was losing hope I saw another for sale complete with pictures and it was still wrapped in plastic. The guy said he won it at an office party and didn’t play golf. I made an offer and got it $15 cheaper than the first one. I know it’s not the best simulator out there but it’s all I can afford on a law enforcement pension this soon after Christmas with 5 kids. I eventually will get a Rapsodo unless someone has a better suggestion at that price point.
  7. I have watched The Wire completely through 3 time. So well done. I recently finished second season of Jack Reacher. (So good). Finally Jack Carr’s “The Terminal List” is a series that follows the book very well.
  8. I haven’t bought it yet but a guy has a Optishot 2 with 5x3 hitting mat for $280. It looks like it hasn’t been used much. My question is it worth it? I’m retired and money is the main factor, but the rate the quality of simulators has increased I want to get the best bang for my buck. At this point I am saving for the Rapsoto. The reason I say saving is I have to get a new roof this spring so simulator money is what I squirrel away without my wife knowing. lol. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
  9. It was amazing. The club pro at the time needed a club that my buddy had at his shop in Barboursville and he work out a trade for a free foursome round. All we had to pay was the fore-caddy.
  10. The nicest courses to date I have had the honor to play was the Reserve, in Stockton, CA second was the Pete Dye course in my home state of WV. Amazing course that used the natural landscape and a closed coal mine to creat a gorgeous and challenging course.
  11. Without question my bucket list #1 is St. Andrew’s in Scotland. Number 2 or #1 in the US is Augusta National.
  12. I am looking at 6in of snow out my window so I want to thank you for this post. I now have multiple movies to watch or rewatch til the spring thaw. BTW Happy Gilmore is #1
