DAKDAKDAK got a reaction from William P in Making The Switch To Graphite
I have multiple sets of irons and have both graphite and steel stepless shafts. I like the weight of the stepless shafts but I have recently tried an experiment that I am liking a lot. I put graphite shafts in a set of muscle back irons but cut them down 1/2 inches. I then added lead tape to get the swing weight back to where it was at the longer length. The light weight of the graphite shaft coupled with the heavier weight of the club head allows me to feel the club head more as I am swinging. I’m a little more accurate but as with any new thing in golf, I will need to wait for the “newness” effect to pass to see if it holds up.

DAKDAKDAK got a reaction from William P in Why are we still using Swingweight?
Swing weight is very important. How the club feels in your hands might be at the top of the list with regards to being able to sense the club head throughout the swing.

DAKDAKDAK got a reaction from Rob Person in Golf bags- stand or cart, and why?
I switched to a cart bag after years of using staff bags. I play daily and always walk and use a push cart . I like the larger size they provide as I tend to pack a lot of stuff. There are typically a sweater, rain jacket, bag cover, too many golf balls, etc.
