I've never actually seen a set of Pings worn like that before. I didn't know Ping's actually could wear that bad. It's awful, but impressive at the same time.

Honestly, this is nothing new from KZG. Even some of their more well respected dealers will tell you what a pain in the behind they can be. There's also the crap they gave Indacup after they had their flooding issues. I'm all aboard the fitting train, but I really dislike the whole "golfers are idiots who can't do anything themselves". I'm just waiting for someone to add "including swinging the club" to that. I mean golfers are idiots otherwise Ping wouldn't have to make their driver loft 2* higher then standard on average, but I also think there's a big difference between being an idiot due to one's ego vs the loft on their driver and being an idiot as to screw a weight in wrong and damage the head. This release sounds more like the latter.

That just may have made my night.

Diabolical 86. It was UGLY out there today. Wind, rain, slow playing (which isn't the norm on sucky days. It was quite odd) Pro Combo's don't like soft conditions. Driver and wedges were all stars though.

Wasn't today, but I rolled out a nice 85 yesterday in 40F weather with 5 penalty strokes. Nasty wind and rain on the back 9. Driving game sucked but irons and wedges were on and saved the day. Wqually interesting that I scored 6 strokes better on the back 9 when I played solo and jogged between shots instead of walking.

That sort of thing, but I make things roll on the backend. Imagine 15 guys working on various mine drawings on 3 contitents. Now imagine them without a high powered fancy machine. Instead they're doing their work from a thin client. While some are working on their own stuff, 3 guys are on a video conference call talking about another drawing and all working on it as they talk adding and subtracting GIS guys to the call as needed. I do the integration of technologies that makes all of that work seemlessly.

IT infastructure Architect and bully of CEO's and Boards that don't let me do what I need to make them money. It's certainly an interesting job given the type of clients I help. I'll do everything from migrating companies to new accounting or email packages to all things IT security, routing, video conferencing and high end collaboration to building GIS server farms at a data center. If you want to do something, I can build it.

Played a lovely round with Mr and Mrs MBP this morning. Wasn't keeping score but had some fairly nice irons shots. Took a break, picked up my fixed Nike's and some different winter balls (TM XD's), went to another course and put in a lovely 89 by my self. Course was dead. Good times!

RP: So, when do you add motiviational speaker to the golfing world to your resume? One day, you need to take a trip out west. We'll introduce you to a real live Yeti while picking your brain.

I suspect you'll see a few more of these rainy day pics. The rain wasn't that bad, it was fairly mild and excellent company really brings out the best even in less then perfect weather. Plus the course we went to would be PERFECT for testing out the irons or wedges should either of us be selected. Lots of variety and possible shot making from different conditions.

Had an excellent day yesterday until the horn went and everyone had to scurry off the course like mad due to lightning. We rarely, like once every couple of years, see lightning here and it rolled in really, really quickly. I've never seen Marshall's scramble so fast to get out there and let everyone know to get off the course NOW. And of course it happens while I'm on my way to killing my personal best on that track by a huge amount. Oh fickle mother nature.

Oooooh, snazzy! Though I have to wonder if the fact it's blue means it's going to be more attracted to the water or not heh.

Really? Seems Bridestone has decided to go after the market over here in the yellow. First they did the E6 yellow for the high cappers and now they're doing a yellow B330-RX for the low cappers. According to 4th hand reports, they're only making them because there's demand for them in North America.

Still want this. I also want a bright Visons hat with that logo on it to (skull and bones on the front and the Vision + on the sides maybe?) in a nice bright green or something. Rickie Fowler won't have anything on Vision players

1: Skull and cross bones. If I could have this on one of the balls normally I'd have the sweetest balls in golf. Gimmie! 2: 2nd row, first one on the left. Just looks snazzy 3: @nd to last row, last one on the right. Also looks neat, keeps your name on there but very understated.

No more N7 driver? Also the for record, X3's plus Eidolon wedges equals the ball does a dead stop on the green. I had to use Pinky's with them to get any release at all.

A little story from this week: One of my golf buddies has heard that I've been playing wickedly bright balls of the pink or yellow persuasion and figured he would one up me. So after a truck load of trash talk he yanks a Srizon yellow Z star out of his bag with a ta da and fake trumpets all around. I'm guessing my smirk didn't go so well when he challanged me to see mine. Fittingly for their origin, I was able to pull out "You call that a knife? This is a knife! He has since repented the Z stars with a formal drowning at sea (the first water hazard on the course for the kids to pick out) and was duly given a mixed box of pinkies and X3's. Yet another convert to spread the word! Coincidently Boz, my next order may be a decently large one... I think that sums up the difference between the Visions and any of the other coloured balls out there.

speszel: First time I got hit with $10 in duty, nothing after that. Course after the first shipment I had everything since sent to my office which has a US brokerage firm who takes care of things like that for us. Though I do recall when I ordered my Nexus One in the summer, I was drilled by $120 in duty fees. Yikes...
