  1. I played with a few guys from work on Saturday. I'm going through a divorce after 27 years of marriage. They thought keeping a full beer in my hands was a good thing. It was, except........... it does nothing for a good score... lol. I ended up shooting an 85. Not that that is a terrible score, but I usually keep it in the high 70's to low 80's on my home course. I never could play and drink.
  2. I played 27 with my brother today. I shot 38, 39, and 36. I'm pretty happy with 77 for the first 18.
  3. I played a round with my brother on Sunday and shot 79. Needless to say, I was/am quite happy with that. I'm always happy when my score has a 7 in front of it.
  4. Thank you. When I try to really rip a drive, I usually hook it. This would be because my arms are so far ahead of my body?
  5. Having had very little success at shaping a shot, I'm just gonna go ahead and ask............. how do you hit a fade and a draw........... on purpose? I can hit a draw much easier than a fade because it seems to be natural for me. There are numerous occasions where I would love to fade the ball, but I just can't figure out how to do it. The same goes for a draw even though I have a bit more success with it. Any help would be much appreciated.
  6. Wednesday was the official start of league play. I shot a dismal 45 on the back 9. I couldn't sink a par putt to save my life. I sure could make fantastic bogey putts, though!
  7. First round of the year for me, today. I shot 82 with 3 penalties. Much better than I expected since I haven't played since the first week of Dec. I'll take it. .
  8. Is this a job I can do myself, or is it best left to a profesional? If I can do it myself, where is the weight added on the putter head, and what kind of glue do I use to put the head back on?
  9. I am currently using a Rife Aussie putter at 34". I'm 5'9" with a 30" inseam. When I'm comfortable with my set up, I'm holding the putter at the bottom of the grip, almost to the shaft. I think I'd like to cut it down to 32". My question is: can I do that without needing to add the weight I cut off, back? Also, if I just get it re-shafted with a shorter shaft, will the weight be right?
