This is a good reminder I need to get back on posting here!

That's pretty much spot on. I've had a few conversations with the owner of Star Grips. He has big ambitions and the grips I got I really like so far. The grip market is not an easy one by any means to be in with the main big big brands.

Exactly! It only took twenty seconds to get through, the first person I talked to helped and fixed all my issues due to the changes they made and I am not still on hold with them, I have not gone through 4 different reps or been hung up on, disconnected, ignored or left in que for an hour plus and I am absolutely still not trying to still working this out after being on hold or chat for the last 2 hours lol

I am very curious about the new Bag Boy Volt. Looks like it could be the best of both worlds!

Please help fix my slice!

Big thing is where you are hitting on the club face as well. A path out to in will be a definite part, but spin looks okay. With no Club speed tough to say on ball speed. Side spin is really high though, so two things you will want for club data. Path - how far out to in you are Strike location - More heel? Need to start getting closer to center or toe -
I will be honest I never used their grips, but when I did go to search for them Star Grips came up and I ended up seeing their were the original patent holders or something along those lines. Always sad to see any company close its doors, but at least there is a good alternative that has been around for a long time!

First Time Putter Build
GolfSpy_APH replied to JRHufnagel's topic in Club Making/Repair & DIY Projects
Going to tag @McGolf here as he is a bit more of an expert than myself. Also @funkyjudge will be able to better answer these! -
To drop a hint is I am very excited for the variety of tests. From clubs to tech to other we have just a really cool lineup built and committed already... And we still have much of July and August to fill in. Come for the testing, stay for the community. We know testing is the big draw, but I hope we see a lot more get the bug for the forum and deeply involved. That's my hope. It should be a lot of fun, but it's also just a portion of what we have to offer here.

For the 100th comment - I won't even say why I should be. I'm very grateful to be in the position I'm in and to have received the opportunities I have. They are so much work I am actually quite picky about things now as I want to ensure I'm excited and put my all into every opportunity. I love the excitement for those who are selected and how stupid happy they are. This year will be exciting and I hope of the 80 plus who have posted here you check out the guide on how to be a tester and reslly get us to notice you!

https://variety.com/2024/tv/global/the-grand-tour-sand-job-special-sets-premiere-date-1235891507/ New it was happening as they have been doing these forever and admittedly the most recent ones have not been my favorites but will still miss these adventures as nobody can truly replace them as a trio!

Not sure you will get one anytime soon. Based on the conversations I had their intentions are to keep things pretty under wraps and let the performance speak for itself.

HackMotion Training System - 2023 Forum Review
GolfSpy_APH replied to GolfSpy_APH's topic in Forum Testing Reviews
I'll be going through most of it next month as well. We are in the process of moving and things are chaotic to say the least with that going on. -
I just took it down a half inch from standard. Would have to measure it again.
-
I am hoping to do some more testing soon now that it is cut down and at a better playing length.

Testers Announced! What is Fit For Golf? Created by strength and conditioning coach Mike Carroll, Fit For Golf was established all the way back in 2014, but it wasn't until 2017 that the first online program was launched. Mike had learned about how some trainers at the time were using apps to deliver online programs and decided to create his own Fit For Golf App. So, what does the App feature? As part of the Fit For Golf app, there are a variety of programs and workouts to suit all golfers that can be done at home or in the gym. It also includes "easy-to-follow videos," a schedule, and a progress tracker to ensure all involved keep on top of their programs. Finally, the app also includes support, where golfers can reach out to Mike or one of his support team for guidance and assistance. Please welcome and congratulate our selected testers! @MaxEntropy @berkeleybob @Subdiver1 @ILMgolfnut @taylorjonasher @PJVicary

They are certainly seeking a very well rounded person and someone with a truly complete skill set.

It seems like a better/updated version of one length. I think for those that don't have the speed in one-length and then have those gapping issues which many run into with longer clubs this could be a better solution.
-
Why not just ask them to move it?
