  1. I can tell you from my personal experience with both the AiSmoke Max D and the Ai Smoke TD, the forgiveness across the face is real. My miss tends to be higher toe, and the amount I lose on it with either of these drivers is very minimal.l I will have some Callaway goodness and AF Goodness there to share with any fellow "moderate" swingers
  2. Mine is coming with the PING tip as well and will be tested in the 430 10K Max.
  3. I'm just sub 90 mostly 83 to 85 but occasionally sneak above that, maybe the AF will get me to 90! No doubt, what is the count at least 3 Ai Smoke Drivers and 2 Autoflex I am getting the 405 as I'm right in the sweet spot of it's range.
  4. Great intro video Sam...great job on the bag pics, but love the family pics!
  5. See Below See Below Too See Below Also No doubt there will be lots of Ai Smoke coming off that range in Kingsmill! That's at least 3 of us that I know that will be gaming them, I may have a very special back up there as well. Stay tuned for more
  6. While I love the bag update, I love seeing the name back posting again. I know it's been a crazy couple years leading up to your retirement. Congrats and Thanks For Your Service! Now you got a lot of ground to make up on me in the ho'ing department
  7. Yeah, Matt (TXG) did some great editing of my fitting with Ian. The part where Ian stopped the fitting and made a few adjustments to my grip, took in real time about 15 or 20 minutes to work with, but on film Matt made it into about 30 seconds...ha
  8. KVV clubs that he belongs to is about 8 miles from where I live, and he lives about 20 minutes from my course. I have invited him out to play at any time, but hasn't been able to yet. Other than that, I'd love to join Solly when he does these challenges with Jordan and JT or Scottie, they are well done and would be a blast. Also anything POD or Velcren event related with Mike and Eli from Chasing Scratch would be a blast.
  9. Well Scottie Scheffler didn't leave much doubt as to who was going to win the Masters after the 9th hole on Sunday. But the three winners of this pool were very much in doubt and took a lot of tie breaking methods and digging to see who read and followed the rules. Unfortunately as happens every time in these contests, there several entries that tied for the best scores, but did not follow the rules by making a post in the contest thread. But to those who did, congrats on your outstanding picks and thanks for reading and following the rules. Since Titleist/Vokey was generous enough to give all three winners 3 wedges each, there technically wasn't a need for 1st, 2nd and 3rd. But to give proper credit. Congrats to the following: @kstroupe and @BigJohnB78 both finishing -15 @Speck was the only one finishing -14 who followed the rules! You all will receive a PM from me shortly on what to do next. Thanks again to everyone for a great turnout and we hope to do it again in May for the PGA Championship!
  10. Thanks everyone for your partic8ipation. A new thread will be up shortly announcing the winners.
  11. Woof!! I saw be was either -1 or even around hole 12. When i looked at the missed cut list and saw his name and thought it must be last yesrs. Then i went and checked oit his scorecard. Oh man that was frightening. Glad i ddint have to watch it.
  12. Important Reminder: The winner of the pool is not official until I verify the following: 1) That the entry is in fact a registered member of the forum BEFORE the entry deadline. 2) That the entry made the qualifying post in this thread, as a note there were over 1100 entries and less than 600 posts here, so simple math will tell you half the entries are already invalid. Some complain about those rules, but they are there to "protect the field" or in other words, do our very best to make sure the prize goes to a contributing member of the forum. So hold off on any victory dances until I post the winner sometime Monday!
