  1. No, bought the Vokey wedge new this way. bought the Ping wedge from another guy, so don't know if he did this, or if it came this way.
  2. I am into raw wedges these days.
  3. Taking a step back, with your adjustment, you are hitting it 290+ and have eliminated your "big miss". I assume your big miss costs you more strokes than going from a 305-315 drive down to a 290 drive. You can do the math and figure it out. While none of us want to lose 10-15 yards off the tee, if you are hitting more fairways and no longer fearing a drive that can go out of bounds, this seems like a no brainer to me.
  4. I had a Epic Flash Subzero 3+ last season, and it was a very good club. I use it primarily off the tee on short holes, tight holes, or when my driver is acting squirrelly. I have a 17 degree hybrid that I use for long fairway shots, so my 3 wood has a specific function. I just traded my EFSZ in for the Mavrik with a GD VR shaft. Unfortunately, the weather here has sucked, so I haven't been able to hit it very much so far. I hope to get alittle more practice with it in the near future.
  5. I have a 17 and 23 degree super hybrid. I actually like them a lot. They are forgiving and perform well. They are basically a cross between a hybrid and fairway wood. I use the 17 degree for second shots off the fairway that require 220 yards or more and the 23 degree is my 210 yard club. So far so good, but I haven't had enough playing time with them to say anything definitive just yet. Weather is still crappy here, so I hope to get a better idea once the weather turns.
  6. I have been playing this shaft for the past 4 rounds. I have to say that it is a stable shaft, and I find that my misses are better with this shaft. It is still too early in the process to know for sure, but I am encouraged with the initial results, and hope it continues on the same path.
  7. I'm a Lamkin fan as well. They have some new rubber compounds and synthetic materials that are really tacky. The Sonar and TS1 grips are great.
