  1. Where are you Mr. Smith?? We miss you around here!!

  2. For your consideration is a special project: Titleist 962B, 2-PW Dynamic Gold Sensicore X100 New black velvet grips by Karma Golf This is truly a unique set of irons as you will see by the finish on the heads. The finish is an "oil quench" or "oil dip". This process involves heating the head with a torch to a high temp and then dipping the head directly into oil which causes the finish you see. The end result is very unique and pretty darn cool. The heads are composed of the softer 731 stainless steel so they do have some bendability (2 degrees +/-). I am going to leave the price open ended to start with, if you are interested please message me with an offer to consider. I will accept payment via PayPal and I ship within one day of receiving the payment.
  3. Strokes gained putting refers to a player's number of strokes per round in relation to the field. If you have a +1.5 strokes gained putting then you are averaging 1.5 less putts per round than the field. Sent from my Sprint LG G5 mobile device
  4. This is an awesome thread, I love dreaming about stuff. Over time I've spent way too much money on clubs lol. If I had $1200 to blow in my checking account here's a dream bag setup: Driver: TMade Burner Tp (2006 version) with Matrix Orange Crush shaft X-Stiff 3-Metal: Callaway X-Hot (2006) with Diamana Whiteboard 73x Irons: KZG ZO 2-Pw with DG x100 Wedges: Bridgestone J40 with DG s400 Putter: Wouldn't think about changing Sent from my Sprint LG G5 mobile device
  5. Good question. They actually haven't because they stay stashed in my closet or under my bed. From what I've heard though, the temperature while being stored doesn't really matter. It is the temperature from 48 hours prior up until game time. This would have the impact on compression and how well it rebounds off the club face. Sent from my Sprint LG G5 mobile device
  6. Hey man, I keep stashes of Titleist Professional and Callaway Rule 35 balls. Both still fly perfectly fine and the upside is they spin a lot better then the new balls. Sent from my Sprint LG G5 mobile device
  7. Man I'll tell you what, I won't start a warm-up session or practice session without doing regular plus active stretching. I have to activate my leg and back muscles before starting the violent action that is the golf swing. I spend a minimum of 15 minutes for it. Sent from my Sprint LG G5 mobile device
  8. Sounds like a nice place Al Sent from my Sprint LG G5 mobile device
  9. Think of it this way. 99% of the stuff you see from people, golf pros, so called experts is crap. Also, this is the best explanation I ever got from someone I really respect (my instructor): At setup address position, your hands should be the same distance away from your body regardless of the club. Since that is the case, the longer the iron or wedge length, the flatter it should be to accommodate the impact position. For me this has always held true. My 3 iron is 2 degrees flat but my LW is "standard". Just a thought for you to consider. Cheers -Burk Sent from my Sprint LG G5 mobile device
  10. Shankster, it was at The Moors down in Portage. What a great track, but tough. Greens were at a 13 both days. Sent from my Sprint LG G5 mobile device
  11. I've been borderline giving up before. I'm a 2 hdcp so my abilities are a little different, but back in '08 I qualified for the state amateur. Biggest event I'd ever played in, course beat me up and I got the hosels in the first day of qualifying. Shot in the high 80s both days. Proceeded to just drink away my sorrows and not touch a club til the next year. Sent from my Sprint LG G5 mobile device
  12. Oh my goodness, I watched the 1st season of Modern Family and I was rolling laughing. Sent from my Sprint LG G5 mobile device
  13. I was a big Dawson's Creek and Smallville fan from years ago. Watched both from soup to nuts. Most recently my favorite was Revolution, it was killed after two seasons but man it is worth the watch. It is about what would happen if all electricity suddenly stopped.
