  4. Anyone have any experience with the PTx irons? Giving them a serious look. 5 handicap in my late 40’s and starting to find a touch of forgiveness isn’t a bad thing though I still like a somewhat compact head without a lot of offset. Like the way these look and have a couple demo clubs coming. Current gamers are T-MB’s. Like the Hogan brand. New wedges on the way already. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  5. Just ordered a set in black. First set that won’t be Vokey excited to give them a shot. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  6. Great feedback here and I’m in the market for new wedges. These were in the conversation and may be at the top now. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  7. Thought the clouds presented a cool late afternoon pic here in the Rockies. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  8. Still getting some good rounds in here in Denver. We get fortunate and still get days near 60 in November and grass has remained greenish in some areas. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  9. Late fall golf Thanksgiving morning in the Rockies. Lucky to have a nice morning this time of year and clouds were too cool to pass up a pic. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  10. The bottom fell out of these after Nike decided to get out of the equipment business. A lot of eBay sellers still think they are worth a ton. Serious buyers have been paying $200-$250. The 006 Proto has slightly more value but also tanked. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  11. Confused as to what this has to do with the tester opportunity. Seems like a question/comment that should be in another section. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  12. A couple of people said it pretty well. Going into fall isn't the best time to sell clubs. Guys are looking for cheap sets to mess with over the winter. The C-taper shaft is the standard offering in some of the Cobra irons and I don't think that is hurting it one bit. I think the 1” short is the killer. If it was 1/4” short not a biggie but not many guys get fit for 1” short. I'd say fewer than for 1” long. So you're probably hoping for that one guy out there that has been fit, knows he needs 1” short irons and is looking for this set. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  13. Awesome story. We had our course record broken in a tourney this summer too. Local young man who was signed by the university golf team and wasn't really supposed to ever be a factor. Has worked his tail off and now is the #1 on the team and at one point was #7!in the country in scoring average. Anyway our record was 63 and he shot 60 which included hitting his drive into a hazard on a par 5 and calling a penalty on himself on the same hole for the ball moving after he grounded his club. Still only took a 6 on the hole and should have birdied for a 58. It was an effortless day and awesome to watch. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  14. These guys were all very able bodied. I'd say late 20's early 30's. The kind the rules don't apply to. Drive really gut between two signs and park feet from the green. Didn't fix a ball mark the entire time. Not sure mentioning anything made any impact but I couldn't not say something. I'll be leaving feedback at the course too. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
