  1. A brand that obviously intrigues a lot of people. You wonder how good they really are. Someone was selling and in need of quick cash early COVID. They happened to be in my specs including the shafts and for the price it was worth buying and trying. I knew if I didn’t like them I could easily double my money. Not much more than that really. Ping G410 LST 9.0 Cobra King SZ 14.5 TM M-3 19* hybrid PXG 0311T 4-PW TM MG2 50*, 54* & 60* Bettinardi Antidote Hexperimental
  2. My bag is mixed with 5 brands. I used to believe it looked cool to have a bag full of one brand but over the last 5 or 6 years as I have been fit and become better I have realized that I’m picky about my clubs. Look, sound and feel are important to me, just as performance is. I love my Ping driver and the fairway performed well enough but I hated the look and sound of it so went with the new Cobra. Much better visual and sound appeal and performance is actually slightly better for me. I want the best combination of those things at every category in my bag and chances are pretty low that all comes from one brand. I guess I’m more concerned about my game than what the bag looks like. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  3. COVID-19 has had a big impact on me and my free time this year. I’ve been very luck to be busier than ever but, one just has to make time for golf and tinkering. This is the bag I’ve been playing most of the season and other than tinkering with a Swag Tour Prototype putter will probably remain unchanged the rest of the year. I’m very picky about the look, sound and feel of my clubs. If I don’t like any of those I can’t play something. I’m a mental midget sometimes. Also have not found one brand where I like every category in their lineup. Believe in playing whatever brand checks all the boxes no matter the brand. So with that, here’s the bag of mixed nuts. Driver: Ping G410 LST/EvenFlow Black 6.0 shaft 1/2” short. 2nd season and it just finds fairways. 3 Wood: Cobra King SZ 14.5*/Mitsubishi Tensei Blue AV 65 stiff shaft. Love the look, sound and feel, trajectory, workable and equally good off of tee or turf. Very underrated. 3 Hybrid: Taylormade M3 19*/Graphite Design ADDi 85 HY stiff shaft. Plenty long and the go to when a fairway is required. Very impressed with consistency from this shaft. 4-PW: PXG 0311T Gen 1/ Nippon Modus 3 105 Tour stiff shafts. Would never pay what these things cost but got them on the super cheap and was worth the risk. Turns out I love them. So easy to hit, forgiving, long as my P760’s were just fun to hit. Wedges: 50*, 54* and 60* Taylormade MG2’s/Nippon Modus3 105 Tour stiff shafts. Love the compact heads, thin top line and rusted grooves. Another consistent performer with a great feel. Not clicky like others I’ve played. Putter: Bettinardi Limited Beached Antidote #1 Hexperimental 34”. Been rolling it well but also working a Swag in and out as mentioned.

  5. You could make a fortune recycling balls down in that ravine. Need to avoid the snakes though. [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  6. I drive all the greens. Seriously though, I got them in a trade a while back and didn’t put them in play until recently. Got tired of them sitting there looking so good screaming use us. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  7. Ironic to read this. I was at a golf course today and while paying I overheard the pro talking to a prospective buyer telling him they were seeing some of the same issues with their Odyssey putters. Not sure of cause. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  8. Thanks. Love them myself and so soft. They’ve been a great build. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

  11. Blackstone CC in Aurora, CO. Tough stretch of three holes. This one in particular. Smart play is to layup left off the picture to 130-150 and have a wedge over this draw, but......... Ok I laid up but couldn’t resist dropping a second ball and seeing if I could make the 270 carry to a 278 pin. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

  13. As@downlowkey mentioned, I was able to role 20 or so putts on two occasions with his Armlock. I have to mention that my favorite head shape is a Newport and I am obnoxiously obsessed with look, sound and feel of any club. If those three items aren’t right for me it doesn’t matter if it’s the best club in the world. That said this putter did not initially fit my eye, setup, head position, etc. However, after just those few rolls I was intrigued enough to buy one on the used market. It’s a new concept. I think I’ve been luck so far with my configuration but it would be well worth the time to do a proper fitting and get a feel for the right ball position, the right left arm position and length. Mine is 40” and it feels good. I wouldn’t want to go shorter. 4 degrees of loft after an adjustment. It was too far forward in my stance initially. I don’t normally like alignment aids but feel it is very helpful on this setup due to the forward press and difference where my head is at. Without all of the details that the reviewers have already done a tremendous job of sharing this putter has reintroduced me to some fundamentals I think will help me become a better putter regardless of model. My grip pressure is more even between hands, I don’t have to worry about flipping at the ball and tempo is just better throughout the stroke. I’m three tournament rounds into use. I’m finding distance control very quickly. No 3 putts and no missed putts inside of 6 feet. I don’t mind running one by the hole two or three feet anymore because I feel like the short putts are almost automatic. No pushes, no pulls, straight back and straight through is what this setup promotes. It isn’t a cure all or magic wand but I sure think it produces a much more consistent stroke and would be a benefit to anyone that struggles, especially with short putts. It isn’t coming out of my bag anytime soon. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

  15. Still getting some good rounds in here in Denver. We get fortunate and still get days near 60 in November and grass has remained greenish in some areas. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
