  1. I ended up with the Forged. I know the lofts are jacked but I can use the extra distance, plus I am hitting them high enough for the descent angle to hold greens. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  2. I simply try to brush or “bruise” the turf in front of the ball and get good results. Gaming Ping G400 3&4 hybrids. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  3. Here is what I have to add. I went for a “Club Champion” full bag fitting with the high hopes of the JPX 900 irons being “the ones”. Sure enough, they were the best, in terms of FEEL, looks, distance and dispersion. I am about 1 1/2 to 2 clubs longer and even more importantly to me, the turf interaction is fantastic. I too do not pay any attention to new club releases because I could not be happier with what is in my bag. Oh, I'm bombing drives with my new Cobra F8 Plus/Raijen Shaft too. Shot my lowest round in quite a few years last weekend. Love this forum too, you guys are great with responses and feedback. Don Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  4. Yes, purchased from CC and they assembled. Your answer leads me to believe this is not unusual, and actually beneficial in some cases.I also asked this same question on the “Club Champion” thread in MGS forum. The opinions on that thread (sorry I posted the same thing in two separate locations) indicate the belief that the serial numbers should match throughout the set. Could you explain the “weight slope” reference, in layman's terms? Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  5. Ok... I sent Mizuno USA an email. I'll let you guys know what the response is.Just to add, the Club Champion fitter said “we weight sort the heads to ensure consistency throughout the set of irons, you would more than likely find matching serial numbers on any set of irons purchased from a big box store but we take it a step further”. I know they (CC) are selling “tour level fittings”...but that answer would indicate that tolerances are not as exacting from the OEM itself. I'd like to know what you guys think about that? Splitting hairs? Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  6. The reply I was sent from CC was, because they buy in bulk, they “weight sort” the heads to ensure consistency among the set. I guess I can buy that explanation but I was expecting all serial numbers to match. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  7. Already sent them an email this evening...waiting on their response. Just to add a couple more details....I decided to add a 4 iron to my set a few days after the order was placed. It's serial number matches all the other irons. The two odd clubs are the 6 and 9...which match each other. I might have a little OCD...cause I don't like it. I can convince myself that something might be slightly different (from the foundry) between the two batches 🤪. Didn't know if there was anything to that kinda thinking. 8. So received my irons this evening....so stoked. Got Mizuno JPX 900 Forged with Steelfiber I95 stiff shafts. One question...the serial numbers on the heads are not matching on two of the irons. Is this inconsequential? If it does matter....why? I look forward to your responses. Don Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  9. I have a ...concern. I just received my Iron set from Club Champion tonight. I was fit for Mizuno JPX 900 Forged with Steelfiber I95 S. (Exactly the Iron I wanted... it worked out). The issue (which may be nothing to give a second thought to) is the serial numbers do not match throughout the set. All match with the exception of the 6 iron and 9 iron (those match each other BUT not the rest of the set). Is this unusual or cause for concern? If it is...why? I look forward to your responses. 10. Could someone add the Crossfield link...thanks Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  11. Great review...I am adding to the list of “must try”. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

  14. Checking back in...now down to 216.8 after some stagnant weight loss...(actually went in the wrong direction a few days). So a total of 10 lbs. down. This has been all through diet. I haven't gotten into the gym yet. The thread is motivating. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

On the positive side with Rahm...he has a short swing that is easier to try and emulate. I watch it. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
