I sourced the Graffaloy Prolaunch and it was $99 up here in Canada.

I pulled the trigger on the NV green A flex. Arriving on Wednesday! If I went for the pink I would have tipped it an inch!

Believe me, I too struggled with the idea that D0-D2 could be a playable swing weight. D5 is what I've known for so long to be my ideal match. And in a 65-70 g much stiffer profile shaft it is.
This whole subject in itself is about breaking through that conventional barrier. If I had tried this experiment and found that none of these theories and claims worked, this thread would have never been started. Per Autoflex, they've even state that for maximum performance results, D0-D1 is needed. Anything heavier and you might be exceeding the limits of how the shaft is meant to perform. Is that 100% accurate? Couldn't tell ya.
Without going into 14" fulcrum vs balance point, and swing weight being an arbitrary and not a static measurement, we know that it's a measurement that represents a general feeling and not an actual scientific or mathematical outcome. Under the conventional platform # Swing Speed = # flex + # g shaft, SW does make sense when trying to find a feeling that allows the player to maintain a good tempo and adequately feel the club head moving through impact without getting lost. It's been agreed by expert smiths though that a major component that was never really factored into SW was flex profile. For a long time and still common practice, "flex" has typically been a swing speed only designation.. I.e. you swing 100-105 mph, then you're an S flex.
A club SW of D1 with a S flex 65g shaft at 45" will feel substantially different (lighter) than a D1 A flex with a 45-50g shaft at 45". I'm finding that to be 100% accurate with this experiment. I'm not a physicist or mechanical engineer so I can't spout out the specific science behind it all, but overall the mass of the head isnt changing. It's not like we're building a scale model where everything's precisely 35% smaller. From my measurements you can see that 2/3 of the mass of the club comes from the head alone. The balance point has been substantially shifted downward. Couple that with a much more bendy profile, the result is a much heavier feeling than the conventional D1 SW would suggest.
Hopefully all of that sounded ok. I'm on vacation with my kids with limited resources. I woke up early to check on my 3rd child "this thread". I'm off to the waterslides for the day so don't beat me up too badly while I'm not around to defend myself 😜

End of the golf season for me so had to use up my gift cards for 2022. Didn't know what to use the GC's for so wrote my pro and ordered the 44g Grafalloy Prolaunch Blue in A flex to try this out. Current game an 65g M4 (Stiff) Accra Tour Z ST in an 10.5 M2 lofted down to 8.5. Curious if I end up buying a lower lofted head to further experiment with this set up. I have played loft as low as 7 deg before without much concern for carry distance.
Excited to try it when it arrives and I can golf again, in April/May, lol. Gonna be really hard to pry that Accra outta my hands, after increasing the SW to D6 at the beginning of the season I have been "back" to driving it extremely well. But tinkerers be tinkerers.

Extremely cool test. Immediately began looking at the Graffaloy ProLaunch 45 up here in Canada. I'd be very curious if you experiment with a light grip (e.g. GP Tour 25) to bring the SW back up and see what, if anything, that does. My immediate fear for my own game is the left ball with that lower SW. I play my driver at SW of D6 and found that eliminated left for me. I can definately see myself trying something like this out!

Chadvb got a reaction from Kansas King in One Length Scoring Clubs
I am about a year and half into my own experiment with a similar concept. Originally started with my 2 favorite length clubs. LW to 8 iron were GW length, 7-4 iron were 7 iron length. Of course making the correct lie changes and Swing weight changes. After a few months I ultimately landed on standard length LW - 7 iron and kept the one length 6, 5, 4, iron at 7 iron length. I found I needed 5 degrees between 4 (20 deg) and 5 iron (25 deg) and 5 and 6 iron (30 deg) to get my distance gaps correct. I also went to Mizuno MP 18 fli hi head in the 4 and 5 iron.
I originally did this with X100 shafts but now have Modus 105x, something about the Modus 105x made this a lot better. I really liked the concept but my golf/scoring didn't reflect it until I made 1 final change, and that was to really focus in on Swing weight. I got some GP Tour 25 grips and went to town where needed on lead tape and play my LW at E0, SW at D8 and everything else at D6. I also built up my grips a tiny bit. All of this was in an effort to eliminate the pull hook. I am about 10 rounds in and its worked beautifully, when I hit it left it just seems to be a pull and the hook part is gone, some even drift back to the right which has been missing from my game for years but in general my miss is now a little bit right and not left of left.
This isn't for everyone, but anyone that hits the ball high enough, I would consider it. I don't worry nearly as much about making solid contact with my long irons anymore, even on the days when the ball striking isn't all there. I also find I can actually flight a 4 and 5 iron down in the wind, a shot that traditionally I would try but it would always drift up on me.
Final changes - I haven't pulled the trigger yet, but I am considering adding a little bit of length back to the longer irons. I am thinking of adding .25 inch to the 6 iron, .5 inch to the 5 iron (so 6 iron length) and .5 or .75 inch to the 4 iron. The reason is when the ball is on an awkward lie (and really when is it other then on tee) it can feel a little awkward. I would also like to see a little more pop on the 5 and particularity the 4 iron as I would love another 5ish yards carry with it for 2 shots I often have at my home club.

Over the past 3-4 years I have demo'd drivers looking for something that outperformed my G10 on the course, I was fitted for the G10 and am a high spin player and basically I found nothing until... the G400. Swing 1 with the G400 and I was sold, I mishit it pretty bad (heel) and felt the ball come off like a rocket down to where I would hit a solid shot with my G10. I inquired about the G400 after the round and my pro (and Ping rep) told me to hold on as there was an LST model coming in a few months and since we played some golf together he knew my high spin woes.

I continued to demo the G400 whenever I could and waited and waited for the LST. I live in Calgary, AB, Canada so our golf season ends basically Late Sept early Oct and kicks off typically in Late April/Early May, both of these time frames coming in not optimal golf conditions, June through August however is generally quite perfect (weather and course conditions).

And then the day came, September 20th and .... I became a father!!! and for the purposes of a golf forum, my driver hunt for the year was over. haha.

Slide forward to June this year and the G400 Max was all the rage and I got my hands on it, and immediately booked a fitting. I found the fitting process very fun and launch monitor (I believe it was flightscope) cool to use. I tried all models of the G400 with all standard shafts until we dialed in the right specs.

Not to get to into it all but here are the details I recall the most:
Swing speed - averaged around 105 mph G10  average Carry - 270-275 G400 Max average carry - 290-295 (1 was over 300!) Spin - (can't recall the numbers) - but down 400 RPM (I would imagine due to a degree loft off the driver) Dispersion - No significant difference (which is fine, my strength is accuracy) Summary - 20 more yards carry, lower spin and more role On the course - I have only had the driver for 2 rounds after waiting for it to arrive and a 2 week holiday where is sat in the shop but I have started working the ball both ways which is fairly new. I actually have trouble hitting it straight which was the strength of the G10 but find I can hit a 10 yard draw or fade quite nicely. The draw seems to really bring in some new spots on the course and I really see that extra 20 yards. The fade as expected is shorter but seems to be where a solid straight ball with the G10 was and I can play that shot with less fear, a fade is my go to which I somewhat lost with the G10. The biggest factor on the course is the mishits, this is a step up from the G10 for sure in terms of carry. We have a couple risk and reward tee shots at my club and now I have nothing to worry about with the carry on a mishit.

Overall, extremely happy with the switch, driving is a strength of my game and look forward to taking advantage of hitting it both ways (knock on wood) and seeing some shorter approaches in on a couple Par 5's and long par 4's.

I typically play a ProV1 but look forward to trying a couple new balls with the G400 Max as well. Got a sleeve of Tp5x's at a tournament recently and they will be in play tonight!
