  1. Garage practice set-up. Bender is big on feedback negative or positive when making a swing change. My favorite drill station to help me hit push draws. Cone set on toe line to promote hands in club head out on backswing. Impact bag set up so club path goes in to out slightly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I personally feel like Mike Bender might be the best golf instruction Instagram account around. Some of his methods are certainly different than many of the new instructors touting opening up, wrist angles and rotation. From what I have read he strives to teach the most efficient swing possible and he does a darn good job at it!! Other guys to look into: Mike Malaska- YouTube Jeff Coston on Twitter, YouTube Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Congrats guys! Truly envious. Can’t wait to hear the reviews. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I have read the book as well. While I don’t have the time right now to provide a lengthy review I will say one of the tips I found most valuable was practicing hitting full shots with the ball in widely varying positions within your stance from in front of your lead leg to behind your trail leg (and everyplace in between) I have added this to my range sessions by hitting 10-20 balls in this manner just trying to put center face contact on the ball. It does wonders for your confidence and your ability to get the club on the ball correctly from different positions. You can also do the same thing from different lies and slopes. As we all know when you are playing golf on the course it is rarely a flat lie like the range. Ultimately the task remains the same of controlling the clubface to make good contact and direct the ball toward the target. I have found that this has helped me a bunch- give it a try. 5. I see what your doing there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Wow. Can’t believe Rahm tried that shot. 14 mph wind left to right trying to hit a big hook out of a bunker and he usually fades it. Dumb. Loved the reaction of his caddy! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Well you might get it today! Can someone please hit a fairway! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Well this got interesting quickly! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  9. Sorry. Didn’t see it when I was looking through the threads. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I like Fleetwood too. Love his action. Too many over draws yesterday. He did play well on the back nine yesterday but he has never won on PGA TOUR and he even stated that this is one of the biggest events from a crowd perspective he has ever played. Rory has been in this position so many times I just think the odds are in his favor plus he is in second to last group which might take a little pressure off. Would love to see Furyk pull it off but don’t think that it is likely. I think Jason Day has a real good chance as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I think McIlroy will get that putter going finally and close this thing out. He had so many opportunities on Saturday I think the odds will fall in his favor in the end. What say you?
  12. Just got back from AZ. We Ko Pa is a must play. Not sure where you are staying but another must play is out west called Verrado Founder’s Course. I have played it many times and it is an absolute blast. Prices will range from $100-$129.00 depending on when you play. I would look at different Tee time websites and get the best deal and call the pro shop as well. They usually match any deals. As far as the course goes every hole is different. There are houses around the course on some holes (not all) but they are positioned well off the course. There is some dramatic elevation change on several holes. You will hit every club in the bag which to me says a lot about the course design. It is challenging but doesn’t beat you up all day either. Favorite holes- 3,5,8,9,13,15,16,18. Crap that list got long. Hole 15 is a long par 5 with a back drop of the White Tank Mountains. No houses on the west side of the hole just amazing views. Truly one of my favorite places on earth. Holes 16 and 18 have awesome tee shots heading east down the mountain with dramatic elevation change. You will hit some of the longest drives of your life on those two holes. 18 is steeply down hill off the tee and the second shot. It is picturesque to say the least- i would take par every day and be happy. I love the hole but it will eat your lunch if you are not careful. Finally sitting on the patio after the round to enjoy a beer and the best quesadilla you will ever have makes for a great end to a great day. Sorry that was a long reply. Probably made your decision harder. Jason
