  1. Anybody try one or see one in use on a course?

Anyone see them as new in a retail store?

Seems like it would be the top chipper. It was for a couple of years when i did a YouTube search of top chippers. I think this wold be even better than my chipper with the marksman markings and its wider design.

Tough Market at their price point?  I see it as the opposite.  They have actually created a market in which the other OEMs are starting to play (Titleist Concept irons, TMaG P790ti, etc)

Very true look at honma etc. Lots of snobby richy richs out there.

Id say they probably stopped making it because they didnt sell very many of them.  Most golfers turn their nose at chippers.  I used to have a Callaway chipper and it was a nice little club.  I simply hate to carry a chipper and have a club that is kind of 1 trick pony when I could just do the same thing with a 7 or 8 iron and get the same result.

Some people like chippers though and thats cool.

I use mine (won it in a golf tournament, not a Callawy) for many types of shots like I said from 80 yards out even on a par 3 tee plus just off the green, always goes perfectly straight. I know many golfers egos won't allow them to use it but for us average golfers this is perfect. Al the videos from Callaway's top designer was really good and he did many types of shots, this one is unique with the marksman on it.

  4. Seems like a fantastic club. I have a chipper, not this model and I love it can play it around the green and up to 80 yards out, dead straight all the time. I think this model is the best. Why did Callaway stop making it because it is legal and works great for most golfers? Lots of good videos on the web on this from Callaway and many reviews form many publications. Anyone have one or used one?

you're not the only one, I think it's the follow up...."What kind of course do you normally play that you have to bring your own rake" that makes it 🤣

Well not funny any more with no rakes on courses do to covid 19.

  6. Always wore spiked but then just starting playing in my runners and way more comfortable on the feet, not tired at all plus never any blisters, had to use bandaides ahead of time to stop the blister on all of my spiked shoes, traditional and athletic type..

    Hi everyone.

Been golfing since I was 9 or so so 50 years of golfing.

I am from iWinnipeg Manitoba Canada. Shoot around 95-105 but don't usually count penalties, penalty enough if you lose a ball.

Please like this so I can become a full member to enter tests and contest now that they changed the rules (Why would you do that now in a pandemic??).

Last 3 years or so I go out around 18 times a year but play around 30 games as often play 36 holes and when I do Golfaplooza at Quarry Oaks (it is 5 times a year before long weekends in summer in Manitoba). Golf season here is May 15-October 15. I usually play June to end of Sept but usually only played July and August most of my life like 5-10 times  year.

Play LaVerendrye every Monday for the special, Quarry Oaks 3-4 times for Golfapalooza, Carman, Oakwood, Scottswood links.

I have Jazz Fat Cat driver (2008 I think) and Jazz play to win hybrids (15, 18, 21, 23 degree I think) from 2005, and my irons and bag are from 1985 TNT Silver Eagle (a Ping Eye 2 knockoff from Loonys Golf shop) and a Slotline inertia putter with the gold weights in the back. Yes my clubs are 35 years old.

I had lots of my original balls (40-50 years old) Staflite, Canada Cup, Hogan, Royal, Swiftflite, Kroflite, Achestnut) but used them up last year on water holes to save my newer balls but little did I realize that my old balls were selling for $12 a ball on ebay.

Will golf start up in Manitoba the year with the pandemic?

Stay safe everyone and please like and reply so I can enter tests.
