  1. Yeah, Rory is definitely off. Third driver that I’ve seen that’s gone right/not drawn for him now.
  2. Tiger is looking better than I would imagine many suspected. Clutch putts, plenty of distance off the tee with driver. Exciting times!
  3. It seems to be the same shaft he normally uses.
  4. Rory with back to back uncomfortable driver swings…. Not sure if he’s got the new stealth in the bag, and it just isn’t fitting his swing well? Rate to see him have two drives in a row where he lets go of the club in the follow through.
  5. Any more updates on long-term experiences? Would anyone have purchased the Bushnell version with like the silver plan instead of the GC3?
  6. Anyone gone all the way back through the protocol from start of finish again? I’m getting the itch to start it back up.
  7. I got to meet a PuttOUT rep at the PGA show in Florida. He came by our booth and we spent about 10mins chatting about the Devil Ball. I got to try it out and was immediately hooked. Even though I was rolling it end over end on the “pro” side, I immediately saw how valuable it was and a teaching tool. He gave me a set for free and wants to set up a discount code for my program (super cool). I will absolutely be using this as a teaching tool to help me assess tendencies and dial in my students’ setups to ensure the ball rolls end over end. I’ve had one short practice session with it (I had not practiced putting since before Christmas) and it identified areas in my setup to fix (consistently closed face at impact). Once I did, the ball rolled perfectly on the “Pro” side. I used it for 3 footers, adjusted ball position slightly back towards center, then rolled putt after putt end over end. Then I used my regular golf ball and 3-6ft putts were automatic. It’s a great pre-round calibration tool and it makes short putt practice a lot more fun!
  8. I’m sure someone who is smart enough will take the balls that come with it and make some 3D printed template that you can put a golf ball in and color in the dot pattern with a sharpie.
  9. I get it, it’s almost like iPhone releases. It’s just not what I personally vibe with. 100% just my opinion and I acknowledge that.
  10. I’m getting the old Nike Black/Red driver vibes… Covert I think it was. But seriously, one year… ONE YEAR! And already a new driver. Feels like TaylorMade never really gets it right on the first try. Wait wait wait wait, this time it’s even better! 1yr later… wait wait wait, now it’s even better! I’m not saying people shouldn’t try it or buy it if it works for you, it’s just a turn off for me when TaylorMade does this so much.
  11. Here: https://www.instagram.com/p/Cm2z7q-tM5r/?igshid=NDk5N2NlZjQ=
  12. Avoid the 8ft tall bunkers in several of the par 3’s at Talamore. You get up against the lip or anywhere in one of those and it’s game over.
  13. I’d be down to hang out in the villas as late as feasible to get to know everyone. The price portion would be the biggest hindrance for me. If I could save by not having to stay in a villa that would be most helpful.
  14. Bought a Ping G425 9* Max with the Ping Tour 65 gram stiff shaft. Got it for $150. Fit me for it as well. Thing just wants to stay in play. I would’ve never thought I could keep the spin under 3,000rpm with a max head, but it works. It just wants to find the fairway and stay in play! The only thing I can’t stand is the sound…
  15. Is staying in the villas a requirement? I live an hour away and would drive.
  16. Need the DTL video centered on the hands (both vertically and horizontally). Snap hooks come from club face closed to the path a large amount. From the face on view, it looks like there is a bit of a flip happening. Tough to consistently deliver the club face when the flip is happening. That’s where you get some big hooks and some big pushes. A launch monitor like TrackMan or GC Quad with stickers on the face will tell you what the path and face are. For most of my players I like to see path inside of 3* (positive or negative consistently) for both faders and drawers. Lots of posters have addressed the big issues that can be gathered from the videos provided. Best bet is to invest in lessons with a teaching professional and work on it consistently. Even then, ask 5 different pros and they might come away with 5 different plans to work on the swing. Do your best to stick with one and not bounce around before giving it a fair chance to develop. Best of luck!
  17. Swing changes with internal vs external focus. Shallowing in the downswing. Internal focus example: left palm faces ground (for righties). External focus example: swing under something hanging above the ball line.
  18. Picked up a TSi2 3wd head for $100 still in the wrapper. Just need a shaft for it now. It should be an upgrade from my 2007 TaylorMade Burner TP 3wd. I have the 2007 5wd in the same model but I pure that thing all the time. The 3wd just ain’t cutting it lately.
  19. I got some of this a while back and put my own grommets in it and hung it from hooks. I went with the archery netting so no worries about balls going through. It’s heavy and quiet. https://www.cimarronsports.com/products/22385/cimarron-poly-archery-netting--min-10/
  20. I hit these at a local indoor facility on TrackMan 4. They had ladies shafts in them but I had to try them. After getting accustomed to how the shafts loaded, we had some fun. I literally looked at the others and said, “What are we doing playing traditional irons? Seriously? What are we doing?” I hit the 5iron thingy 230yds! It did feel a bit like cheating. I would love to hit them outdoors to see how they launch/spin, but we kept going back to that bay to hit them.

  22. Looks like my inbox was full. I cleared it out.
  23. Thanks for chiming in! Can you send pics to my inbox? Or post in the thread?
  24. I’m looking to buy a new used set of U.S. Kids Clubs size 48”-51”. Let me know if anyone has any you’re looking to sell.
  25. Experimenting with a high draw swing at the moment. Several reasons for this: 1) it’s fun and it’s how my brain processes; I learn lots of different swings to better understand what my wide range of students experience in their own motions (helps to teach more effectively) 2) it’s a fun personal challenge to try new swings Some key feels for this motion: high hands in the backswing and then feel like I’m dropping it way behind in the downswing (not true at all). Ball goes stupid high and far with this swing.
