  1. Take a look at the Callaway Apex UW, it's something of a cross between a fairway wood and a hybrid. I've only had mine for a couple of weeks, but it could become a go to club for me.
  2. The Nashville area courses have been covered pretty well, so I'm thinking about those on the fringes of Middle Tennessee. If you can get on, Sweetens Cove is one to play - interesting layout and a unique challenge. A little closer, try the University of the South course at Sewanee - consistently ranked as one of the best in the state. Both of these are 9-hole courses that play differently based on tees and pins. An hour north of Nashville is Kenny Perry's course at Franklin, KY. I haven't played it since Covid, but it was an enjoyable course to play.
  3. I recently switched to an Odyssey TEN and love it. It has adjustable weights so you can customize to your liking. I tried the ELEVEN model but the feel and balance of this one worked better for me.
  4. I have to admit, that's a pretty solid offer from a manufacturer. Like several have said, there's some solid information behind your shoes, but the Faldo commercial and his comments on added length just seem to defy credibility. Kind of like driver adds -- it all depends on where you're starting point is. But the shoes are good looking and there are certainly some things advertised that I do think are beneficial. Best of luck with your business.
  5. I use GolfPride's MCC+4. They provide a great balance between tackiness, feel and durability. By using the +4's and an extra wrap of tape I've all but eliminated my left miss. I think getting the right size grip is more important than brand. Grips too big or too small will wear out quicker and impact your game.
  6. Interestingly I had the reverse happen - my son snapped his shaft on his 917D3 and decided to replace it with a TS2. The head was in great shape and I offered it on Ebay and Craigslist with no legitimate offers. I then bought a shaft/adapter and sold the reassembled club for $25 more that I had listed the original head and the cost of the new shaft.
