I play the TSi3 and love it. I have a fast swing and can find the middle of the face pretty consistently. Definitely a good option!

I've learned how to swing a 7 iron back in highschool 15 years ago and never tried or played golf till Jan 2021 so... about 5 weeks i suppose? I would love to know my handicap as well! Seeing as I've still have not been on the field yet, I suspect anywhere from +30 and infinity!

What do you love about golf?

Surprisingly I hated learning back in highschool but when I went to topgolf with my friends in January I just fell in love. It may have to do with I have not done any sports or anytype of physical activity since leaving the military 10 years ago. Now I look forward to going to the driving range and working on my swings and talking about golf with my friends and coworkers.

What brings you to MyGolfSpy? Do you already know any other Spies?

I was searching google for a golf community and poking my nose at places and i found MyGolfSpy. I've read some posts and I felt that the community isn't very hostile or negative towards newcomers.

Where are you from? What is your home course?

I'm from Duluth, GA! There are so many golf courses and driving ranges! Pretty lucky for a brand new learner I suppose. I've yet to go on the field/course yet so I should start looking for a home course.

What are the best and worst things about golf in your region?

Good old Georgia weather should let me play or practice outdoors pretty much all year or most of the year. I can imagine trying to play in the summer heat would be pretty miserable unless I toughen up.

What do you do for a living?

I work in IT, Datacenter operations.

How’d you pick your user name?

I think it was a game ID I started using back in highschool.

I'm currently based in Georgia but I accepted a job offer in Dallas. I felt like I should introduce myself to the region of Spies. 

1. How long have you been playing golf? What’s your handicap or normal score? I have been golfing now for 17 years. My father got me started when I was 12, it was always fun the get taken out of school to go golfing with him and his friends. I'm currently a 8.4 handicap however, my scores have been getting better and better since I've been playing more frequently. 

2. What do you love about golf? I love the challenge golf gives me! Having to apply strategy to each hole and relying on only myself.

3. What brings you to MyGolfSpy? Do you already know any other Spies? A buddy of mine shared one of the Instagram posts and I've been following since. 

4. Where are you from? What is your home course? Nomad at the moment. Looking forward to finding a nice, challenging course when I get out there. 

5. What are the best and worst things about golf in your region? I'll let you know when I get to play a season. 

6. What do you do for a living? Facility Manager for a 3rd party logistics company. 

7.  How’d you pick your username? I'm a Marine Veteran and my first football number when I was 7 years old.

I just went for a fitting last week. I wish I would've seen the amount of delays everyone is experiencing prior to purchasing my set. Is anyone familiar with the wait times for these brands?

I was told 4-6 weeks which I accepted but, if you all are seeing further out then that I might go elsewhere to procure my gear.

Hello all, 

 

1. How long have you been playing golf? What’s your handicap or normal score? I have been golfing now for 17 years. 4. Where are you from? What is your home course? Originally from California, moved to Atlanta area for work. I typically play Crystal Lake CC.

5. What are the best and worst things about golf in your region? The best would be that I can play almost year round. The worst is hard to find, I do get stuck behind some slow players from time to time. 

6. What do you do for a living? I'm a Director of Operations for a logistics/ technology company. 

7.  How’d you pick your username? I'm a Marine Veteran and my first football number when I was 7 years old.
