  1. I play the TSi3 and love it. I have a fast swing and can find the middle of the face pretty consistently. Definitely a good option!
  2. Welcome to the group. You've have come to the right place! For the most part people on here are willing to help and will not put you down. I've been on a few that were the complete opposite and it is definitely not conducive to a learning environment. Best of luck to you and lowering that handicap!
  3. I currently game the JPX921 Hot Metal Pros and I love them! Great club!
  4. I'm currently based in Georgia but I accepted a job offer in Dallas. I felt like I should introduce myself to the region of Spies. How long have you been playing golf? What’s your handicap or normal score? I have been golfing now for 17 years. My father got me started when I was 12, it was always fun the get taken out of school to go golfing with him and his friends. I'm currently a 8.4 handicap however, my scores have been getting better and better since I've been playing more frequently. What do you love about golf? I love the challenge golf gives me! Having to apply strategy to each hole and relying on only myself. What brings you to MyGolfSpy? Do you already know any other Spies? A buddy of mine shared one of the Instagram posts and I've been following since. Where are you from? What is your home course? Nomad at the moment. Looking forward to finding a nice, challenging course when I get out there. What are the best and worst things about golf in your region? I'll let you know when I get to play a season. What do you do for a living? Facility Manager for a 3rd party logistics company. How’d you pick your username? I'm a Marine Veteran and my first football number when I was 7 years old.
  5. Nice!! I would do what the mass is saying here. If you aren't carrying 3 wedges, I would use the remaining on balls.
  6. I second this ball choice. I was playing the ProV1 and TP5 but I've moved over to the Snell MTB-X. If I get in a pinch I'll buy the ProV1 or TP5 but my prefered ball is MTB-X.
  7. Nothing that I can see to be an issue. I had a minor scratch on my PW but I mean.... it's a golf club.
  8. I have since received my irons... Now I'm waiting for the 3 wood head to come in.
  9. I love my new irons and putter! I've only had 2 rounds with the irons but I love them! I've had the putter for a few months and glad I chose it. The wedges are longer than my HMP wedges. Happy Gilmore is my alter ego. I can drive the ball really well but I just can't tap it in.
  10. Thank you! I was crushing it on the simulator so hopefully it will transfer to the golf course.
  11. When my fitted 3W comes in I will post a photo of it. It is a Cobra Speedzone with an Oban Isawa Red 75 shaft. Until then I am still playing my Callaway Rogue.
  12. Hi All, Here is the link to my WITB, still waiting for the new 3W but I am thrilled to at least have some of my new set! Let me know what you all think.
  13. I have a carry and cart bag, Sun Mountain C130 and Titleist Camo Player 4 Plus Stand Bag.
  14. Definitely a rough day yesterday, I must have clicked on the forum link 6+ times hoping something changed. You can't keep doing this to me!!!
  15. Update: I reached out to club champion and they were able to assemble my irons. Now I'm hoping they come in before I have my next round scheduled for this weekend.
  16. Quick update: Everything has come in except my Cobra Speedzone 3W head. I took a look at the Cobra page and the 3W are on backorder. I'm on week 2 of waiting and man am I ready to get these in already!
  17. Definitely bring the set you are playing currently to the fitting. When you are being fit tell the fitter everything you like/dislike. I did a fitting recently at a Club Champion and was shocked at how much shafts can help. I recommend going to a non bias fitter. The difference between heads is a variable that you will want to take into consideration.
  18. I have 2 thoughts here: If the TS4 gave you the numbers you are looking for then buy it and enjoy If you have a feeling you can get more out of other drivers then go get fit for a driver. I see a lot of people that go with the second option and try to squeeze every inch out of their game. I went in to get a fitting and I was seeing minimal gains versus my current driver. In this case I just kept my current driver to save the money. Just weight your options.
  19. I just started playing the MTB-X and I don't think I'll change unless I'm forced. Best ball I've played!
  20. I've had this happen to me more times than not. Last weekend I had a foursome in front of me that wouldn't let me play through and there was a huge gap. I caught them on 8 and had to sit behind them for the remaining of the round. When I got up to them on 10 I politely asked to play through and got a no. I'm seeing it more with the young crowd, which is upsetting because I fall into the same category. I do think the Marshal should do more about this.
  21. Welcome to the group! You have a very nice rig!
