Sign up Closed: PING S159 Wedges

Love my Vokeys but they are definitely in need of an upgrade. After adding a Ping driver to the bag I'd love to see how their wedges perform. Based on the suggestions from the app, I'd be looking st the H grind as I almost never take a full swing with a wedge. 

I've been using Callaway for a while. My nephew Luke List gave me the Ping G 430 driver a couple months ago and I love it. I'm sure the Ping wedge will work just as well for me.

I checked out the ping fitting page, very interesting on lie for irons they recommend. Might get my lie adjusted and give it a try.

I was really impressed with the online wedge fitter. I also tried out PINGs whole bag online fitter and thought it was both informative and, at the same time, trying to get you to buy the their most expensive product. It would be really cool to be able to toggle the "pool" of clubs which you could be fit for. For us more budget players it would be nice to know what old models fit our style. I got fit for the H grind which I think is a great fit. 

 

 

Very timely, ready to upgrade my wedge game, never had much experience with Ping Wedges but MGS gives them high marks, love

Well, this was weird. The recommended wedges were just an extension of the recommended iron set. The only thing that came up on the Wedges page was the note to 1. See the irons and 2. Look at the Chipr you hack. 
 

 

I’m a ping guy. Love my woods, driver and looking but to move to the wedges soon!!!

I doubt I'll get pulled for this, and it will be very disappointing given how impressed I was with the Forged Pro wedges. Having only looked at pictures online, I do love the look of the S159's. If I did get picked for this there would definitely be a wedge title fight between these and the SM10's, Trackman and course results, of course. 

 

Would love to test against my set of MG4 wedges. Currently playing a 50, 54 & 58 for gapping with my irons. 

 

This is a cool opportunity. I'm currently playing Glide Forged Pro Raw wedges and love them. I'm not sure these could be better but it would be interesting to try them!

Should he a great test! Excited to see PING putting more energy into the wedge game (outside of the Chipr). I’ve been staying loyal to my old Vokeys for a long time, but maybe this is the time to change my ways.
