🚨 Testers Wanted! 🚨

TWSM10-Feature.jpg

The new Titleist Vokey SM10 wedges were released in March of this year and have been a popular addition to many golfers' bags since. We are looking for four golfers to test, review, and keep a set of Titleist Vokey SM10 wedges.

About The Vokey SM10 Wedges

MyGolfSpy Staff member Tony Covey has a complete breakdown of the new SM10 wedges here , which is a must-read, but the shorter version is Vokey SM10 is focused on three key elements: versatility, distance control, and trajectory, and maximizing spin. The Vokey SM10 lineup has six different grind options for a total of 25 different loft, bounce, and grind options.

This includes the M Grind that had previously only been available through WedgeWorks and T Grind that has also made its way to the retail market. The other options that a golfer must choose from are the finish, and the SM10 has three of them: Tour Chrome, Jet Black, and the new addition Nickel.

There’s more though; the Vokey SM10 has refined the shape and CG placement to help optimize distance control and trajectory. This works in tandem with their spin-milled grooves that have groove geometry that varies depending on the loft to maximize spin for each loft.

Titleist Wedge Selector Tool

Of course, all of this can be a lot to take in, so Titleist offers an online Wedge Selector Tool to help simplify things. It is a series of eight questions which gather various information about your current setup and game to help make the best recommendation on what setup would be best for you. To try it yourself, go here!

What Is Being Tested?

As previously mentioned, we are looking for four golfers to test, review, and keep a set of Titleist Vokey SM10 wedges. We want you to tell us how they perform in real-world conditions and play. Importantly, we also want to know how the Wedge Selector Tool works and if the recommendations are what you would normally expect.

The selected testers will go through a Titleist Fitting for their wedge set and see how it compares to the results from the Wedge Selector Tool.

Think you are the right golfer to participate in this test?

Pure coincidence that I had my wife try my 60........and she loved it.  Now in the market for a replacement.  Who knows, might get lucky.

Oh my, what a fabulous opportunity. How many people will apply, 10,000, 15,000 or more. Most interested to see the results of this one and the various combinations in play. As Vokey once said, the bounce and the grind select you. Drool factor is high. Good luck testers.

It would be a great opportunity to upgrade my wedges that are due for it! All of my current wedges are off the rack or second hand from Facebook marketplace and probably don’t suit my game the way they could!

I have always struggled with my wedge play. It is time I get serious about a wedge fitting. Vokey is the number one selling wegde at my club and I have resisted. It is time I get fit for the proper wedges. I am all in.

My results for the SM10 are different bounce and grind from my current SM8's.  I'm very interested to see how much my short game could improve if I played the wedges recommend.  It would also be cool if a fitting recommend the same.

Good luck everyone.

Heck of an opportunity! I was just hitting some wedges at PGA Superstore last weekend. This has been on my buy list for some time.
You guys are knocking it out of the park this year

Awesome opportunity!  Thanks MGS for bringing this to us.  My current gamers are Mizuno T22, would love to see the difference in gameplay.  Ready to report 🫡

I Think the bounce is way to high for around the green area, if your opening the Face. I think it should be closer to 8 IMO, opening the face will expose the leading Edge.

What an excellent opportunity!! Here is my fitting from the selector tool. Interestingly, this is basically what I play in SM8, except I have a 54.12 and a 60.08. When I did the tool a couple of years ago, it recommended a 54.10 and a 60.10 as my wedges, so I decided to get a 12 in SW and the 08 bounce in 60 to give myself options.

I’d be interested to know if the GW (50.08) is necessary, since I have a 49* GW in my iron set. Gapping might be better with a 50* Vokey, though, because my guess is that it would not go as far as the 49 in my iron set on full swings. My GW occupies a 135-140 slot, and my 54 currently is 110. I’d love to see if the 50 would put me at 120 or so.

Currently my bag is 52, 56, and 60. Coincidentally the bounce and lofts are both recommended at 2 lower than my setup.

This is an awesome opportunity, I love my SM8's and am so glad that I did a fitting. What I would have bought was not the same as what I was fitted into.

Never had a new wedge and what a great opportunity for those that win good luck all. I’ll be looking forward to reading the reviews.
