🚨 Testers Wanted! 🚨

TWSM10-Feature.jpg

The new Titleist Vokey SM10 wedges were released in March of this year and have been a popular addition to many golfers' bags since. We are looking for four golfers to test, review, and keep a set of Titleist Vokey SM10 wedges.

About The Vokey SM10 Wedges

MyGolfSpy Staff member Tony Covey has a complete breakdown of the new SM10 wedges here , which is a must-read, but the shorter version is Vokey SM10 is focused on three key elements: versatility, distance control, and trajectory, and maximizing spin. The Vokey SM10 lineup has six different grind options for a total of 25 different loft, bounce, and grind options.

This includes the M Grind that had previously only been available through WedgeWorks and T Grind that has also made its way to the retail market. The other options that a golfer must choose from are the finish, and the SM10 has three of them: Tour Chrome, Jet Black, and the new addition Nickel.

There’s more though; the Vokey SM10 has refined the shape and CG placement to help optimize distance control and trajectory. This works in tandem with their spin-milled grooves that have groove geometry that varies depending on the loft to maximize spin for each loft.

Titleist Wedge Selector Tool

Of course, all of this can be a lot to take in, so Titleist offers an online Wedge Selector Tool to help simplify things. It is a series of eight questions which gather various information about your current setup and game to help make the best recommendation on what setup would be best for you. To try it yourself, go here!

What Is Being Tested?

As previously mentioned, we are looking for four golfers to test, review, and keep a set of Titleist Vokey SM10 wedges. We want you to tell us how they perform in real-world conditions and play. Importantly, we also want to know how the Wedge Selector Tool works and if the recommendations are what you would normally expect.

The selected testers will go through a Titleist Fitting for their wedge set and see how it compares to the results from the Wedge Selector Tool.

Think you are the right golfer to participate in this test?

I got used to play with a P (44), 52, and 58 only, but I'm now feeling the need for a better distance control, a more balance step in degrees and decent variety of grinds

Another great opportunity from the MGS staff and Titleist. I am still playing my Vokey spin milled wedges with upgraded wedges scheduled for this year. Can't wait to hear what testers have to say about the SM10's. Good luck everyone!

I have really enjoyed my Cleveland Zipcore wedges but I’m almost 100 rounds in with them and it’s time to get serious about replacing them. Vokeys have been on my radar as well as a couple other brands. Would love to give these a thorough test run and share the results with the forum. IMG_1010.png.a2eb48fadec90ec99146e031cfa892e5.pngIMG_1011.png.c69379afd7ca0a0c03c64efec46898f9.png

Slightly different than what I’m gaming now. Never tried a Titleist wedge either. Would be interested to see differences with the grinds vs. my current setup.

I'm ready for new wedges for this season and the SM10 look fantastic.  I have done both an outdoor fitting and the wedge selector.  I also worked with a Titleist rep at an event last fall.  He told me not to but them then, but to wait on the SM10 release.  I am coming from the Cleveland RTX Zipcore.

Would love to try these wedges!  I’ve been playing the same Cleveland wedges for about 5-6 years and it’s time to replace them.

Been considering a higher bounce option for my 54 60 and trying a specialist wedge instead of my set gap wedge. The D grind looked appealing when I read into Titleist options and I'm not surprised that was recommended for the sand and lob. Would love a chance to test the Vokeys. My only concern is weening my brain of the the Hi Toe / Full Face look I've gotten used to over the last 9 years lol.

The amazing test opportunities just keep coming, wow!  Used the online wedge fitting for my SM8 wedges and couldn’t be happier…absolutely love those wedges!

I have been reading a lot about these wedges. They are on my list of clubs to try. Titleist has taken the time to understand the different swings and playing conditions and make the perfect wedge for all combinations. I am excited to get a set.

Great opportunity. Never been fitted for wedges and the ones I’m playing have been hit thousands of times in the last 4-5 years since I bought them.

Haven't been this excited to sign up as a tester in a long time! As I'm currently playing with 15 year old cobras, I have been in desperate need of an upgrade! Being a full time college student however means it's hard to justify spending a lot of money on new clubs without knowing what clubs really work for me. I play my local course 3 times a week and I'm hoping to see just how well these SM10's can improve my game 🙂

Currently using SM8’s, but these grinds and bounces are different than what I’m gaming today
