KBS vs DG Frequency double check

Afternoon Gents,

I've been eyebaling far too many numbers today and have gone cross eyed.

KBS Tours in stiff is 6.1 FM I believe. DG S300's are 5.8 correct? Ergo to get the same flex, one would soft step a KBS Tour Stiff and hit the same 5.8 with the .3 change per stepping alteration. Ignoring the fact that KBS Tour's tend to feel softer then they are due to the design.

Alternatively one could go with R+ in the C Tapers straight in to get the 5.8 rating.

Just curious as I've been mucking about with iron shafts recently and it seems the 5.7-5.9 is really the spot for me in iron flex with my tempo now.

That and I didn't really give C Tapers a fair shake against the DG's since the rest of that order was botched beyond belief.

While I'm on it, why aren't more OEM's jumping on the +'s from KBS. Seems like Cobra is the only one that's jumped on board so far, or at least from their custom options PDF.

I laught at your claims to fight a zombie apocalypse when most of you can't stand up to a Spider

KBS Stiff frequency at 6.0. Dynamic Gold Stiff frequencies at 5.8. The proper way to get to the exact same frequency is to hard step KBS Tour Regular+ one time, that takes them from 5.5 to 5.8. Going stiff softstepped would take them down to 5.7. The R+ C-Tapers normal frequency is 5.7, C-Taper stiff softstepped once would get you to 5.9.

When I get a chance, I'll compile a spreadsheet with frequencies for steel and post it.
