GolfSpy_APH
With all the golf shaft talk I have seen a lot of members talk about their swings and transitions etc. How would you describe your tempo in your golf swing? How would others describe it and is it something you are working on to adapt or change? rkj427
For me, my swing tempo has been mentioned to be very similar to Nick Price's. For those not old enough to remember or know, he was one of the top players in the early 1990's. At times, typically early in the season, I tend to get a little too long with it at the top, but if I concentrate or think about making what feels to me like a 3/4 swing it seems to come back together. cksurfdude 1 Quote Driver & Fairway: Titleist TSR3 10 degree - Ventus TR Blue & TSR3 15 - Hzrdus Black Gen 4 Hybrid: TSR2 21 degree - Hzrdus Black Gen 4 Irons: Titleist T200 3G (4) & T150 - (5-G) - Project X LZ Wedges: Vokey SM8 54, and 58 Putter: Cameron Phantom X 7.5 Ball: Pro V1 & Maxfli Tour Link to Motocaddy M7 w/Remote Trolley & Bag Review

He is a great asset in explaining this 24/7 measurement and tempo in general. I learned with a 3 tone chime. It that starts one ping on your takeaway, one at the top of your swing, and a ping at impact. This is strictly used for tempo/timing of the swing overall. Everyone on tour, like amateurs alike, have different swings and tempos. I have sat all day on instagram and youtube before watching tempos and deciding what feels and fits my style/swing best. Check it out and let me know! cksurfdude 1 Quote Driver: Srixon ZX7 w/GD Tour VR X 60g w/ Midsize ZCord 5W: TM Rocketballz RBZ with kai'li White X 60g w/ White VTC Cords 3-6 : PING iBlades DG X100 w/ White VTC Cords 7-PW: PING Blueprints DG X100 w/ White VTC Cords Wedges: TM MG3 52, 56, 58 DG S300 w/ White VTC Cords Putter: Scotty Cameron Del-Mar 35" w/ Dancing Scotty Golf Pride Grip
NM01
I have a quick tempo, it matches how I walk and so on. not planning to change it because our tempo is out tempo. my rhythm on the other hand can be too quick sometimes which causes me to be aggressive in transition. This is something I work on. cksurfdude
