  1. They look fantastic! Definitely gonna try one
  2. Looks fantastic, congratulations on the new set.
  3. I usually play Z-Star but have played the QST, and the regular Ionomer Q-Star. Its hard to come to a conclusion based on my performance, but definitely a noticeable difference in consistency across the box between the premium balls, and the budget balls.
  4. That's a fantastic bag, how do you like the driver, I was fitted for it and really liked it, but ended up picking a different model. Sent from my moto g(7) power using Tapatalk
  5. They look pretty nice! I think in this modern age you can get a good performing set of traditional forged irons without going through the big 3 OEMs. The fact that you got fitted is huge as well! As the blade blends into the hossel looks a little weird to me, but so much of that is preference. Good luck with your new sticks! Sent from my moto g(7) power using Tapatalk
  6. I do think it's interesting that Cobra is trying to make MIM a buzz word in golf. Metal injection Molding has been around for a long time, and is widely criticized in the Firearms community. People often throw out that MIM sears in colt and kimber 1911s are junk, and only forged components should be used. It's closer to casting than it is forging. That being said, the pictures of these irons look fantastic, and I'm excited to see them in person and give them a smack :) Sent from my moto g(7) power using Tapatalk
  7. Take a deep breath and hit that sucker smooth, and then hold your finish, and smile. Gotta be able to have fun and laugh at yourself sometimes [emoji6]. Sent from my moto g(7) power using Tapatalk
  8. I makes my ball-flight lower, and it feels strange having weight above my hands. Sometimes I'll choke down for punch shots, with moderate results. Sent from my moto g(7) power using Tapatalk
  9. There is always a catch when you make a deal with the devil. Make sure you read the EULA lmao. Sent from my moto g(7) power using Tapatalk
  10. I've experienced the same issue with the toptracer lounge at my local course. We more or less use it to play virtual golf and games now. Calibration was iffy, it has improved, I still find in about a club short compared to where I'm hitting it to on the physical range. It's not perfect, and I wouldn't use it as a standard for gapping. Especially not on mats. Mine is indoor with heated bays and a bar right behind. I'm hoping to spend some more time there this winter. Beer and playing golf when there is snow on the ground will be worth the trade off in distance accuracy [emoji16] Sent from my
  11. I think it's easy to downplay how valuable a great teacher is. I think I would personally get coached by the coach, and if I had a chance, play with the player. I think the middle ground might be choosing one of the champions tour players that have been in the game for a while, and still perform strong. Maybe Freddie, or Vijay. 12. I watched a couple videos on breathing exercises to help with performance anxiety and lower heart rate, and have tried to use some of those on the course. You'd be amazed what having a clear head and good breathing will do to your golf game. I also believe they did a segment on breath control on a TXG video that I enjoyed as well. With so many mechanics and positions to worry about, sometimes the most effective way to play well is to calm down and have fun :) Sent from my moto g(7) power using Tapatalk
  13. It sure seems like par 5's get reaaal long when is 45 or 50 degrees
  14. Thanks! if anyone has been looking into these DTC irons, I would be more than happy to share my experience.
