  1. LOVE that pic of you swinging with the skyline in the background. That is wall worthy!! Welcome Back to the Forum!! Congrats Mrs. Kenny!!
  2. That is clever... It could be a good challenge for me to make it to 2 dots
  3. I have had those days... late to the course and trying to make it to the first tee before missing your reservation!! I'm with you, it is usually the short game that gets me as well. Good solid round though... a round or two in the net negative numbers will definitely bring down your hcap... what is your goal?
  4. If there was another flex down from the "L" ... I would try it!
  5. This is interesting and relevant to me because..... as I mentioned earlier in the post, I was targeting the D-0 swing weight by removing 4g of clubhead weight (by removing the 8g weight and adding 4g of lead tape). I went out tonight and played a few holes, and by the 4th driver hole, I noticed that I had lost the lead tape somewhere... so I was a full 8g lighter, and I estimate a C-8 swingweight. I hit some good drives, but I felt like I was a bit shorter than I had been experiencing previously. I did have one drive that measured 276, but the 5 others were all less than 255. I am going to replace the 8g weight for my next outing. However... with the minus 8g driver... I my consistency was pretty good. This was the hole that I discovered the lead tape was gone, then hit three drives.... perfect triangle - paced 4 yards between each ball - dead middle of the fairway at 247/251/251
  6. Ok, I received my PRGR today. I will have my baseline by tomorrow. I did take a few free swings and it was pretty spot on to the Mevo as far as swing speed, but I'll see if I can amp up a few mph as the starting point for the competition.
  7. I am VERY familiar with the west side of the cascades gavinski - well... and the east side. If it isn't rain... it's snow. Hope you have a mild winter and find a few openings to play between rain storms.
  8. Looks like you are set in A1 position on the hosel... if you continue to get the right fade, you might try moving to A2 position (a little more upright which will help square the face), also not sure where you have the slider weight set in the back, but you can also move it into the H1 or H2 position to help the face release through impact. That is the beauty of the "3" a couple different adjustments you can easily make with the wrench. Just some thoughts for you as you get more used to the driver. It really is beautiful!! Golf Clubs and Guitars are like artwork to me
  9. That Midlock stroke was pretty smooth MPR. I am envious!
  10. Right you are... I need to improve my quality control and proof reading Kenny haha.
  11. I have owned the PXG 0211, and still own the 0811x Proto. Unfortunately I haven't (yet) owned the Cally Epic Max LS... But the TSi3 has been a winner for me all around since I added it to the bag last year. Only to be replaced recently by the TSR3... So I have to give the nod to the TSi3 for all categories above. But bottom line, I think you could game any one of those three and be in great shape off the tee.

  15. I think you got it Kev. Let me know what course you played so I can add it on the leaderboard. Thanks for posting!!
  16. Shooting 1 under in 25mph wind...that is pretty impressive right there Kenny!!
  17. Played a really strong round for me today. The putting woes I experienced yesterday were evidently helped by my middle of the night re-hashing of my round. I realized (as I was lying in bed thinking about what could have been with the Saturday round... as we all do.... no??... Just me??? ) that I was focusing on a full backswing as I want to... but instead of making a back and through stroke with equal force... I was decelerating on the forward stroke... I'm sure I don't have to tell all of you... that is death on the greens. So today, I concentrated on making an equal forward stroke to the back stroke... and I putted much better. I was also testing out my first round with the reduced weight Otto Phlex shaft... As I mentioned in that thread, I had my new shaft head combo tested on Friday and it came back as D2 swing weight - 2 SW higher than I wanted. Since I have been having success with that SW since installing the L flex shaft - I was a bit hesitant, but wanted to know if there was more gas in the tank. I removed the sliding weight (8g) and measured 4g worth of lead tape and placed n the position my sliding weight was... which effectively reduced the head weight by 4g = 2 swing weight points. I couldn't tell if I was any longer with this weight (longest drive today was 276... which is still in an area I'm not familiar with) but I believe I was tighter in my dispersion. Easing back, or pressing to try and put a little extra in the swing... I was hitting it within the confines of the fairway. all that to say... Love the TSR head and Love the PLB shaft. My round today: Course: Willow Fork CC Course Handicap: 4 Gross Score: 74 Strokes to par: +2 Net Score: 70 (-2) Net Birdies or better: 6 Longest Drive: 276 yards.
  18. Stellar round EP!! and 6 rounds of 9 this week... I thought I spent a lot of time on the course!! But... I only see one round on the leaderboard... Great playing EP... that will be a score that is hard to beat.
  19. Congrats on the PB nine Kenny!! 2 birdies and 7 pars... that is an outing to remember!!
  20. I am VERY interested in the results from the iron test Bobbers. Based on the way the Driver "syncs" to my swing... I have to believe I would find equal or more improvement with my iron game... I'm even considering finding a cheap used set of Women's irons to test out... though I think Women's sets are an inch shorter than Men's standard length..
  21. Ok, I removed the sliding weight from the back of the TSR3 and weighed it... just shy of 8 grams. I cut some lead tape to 4g length, and applied in the same H1 location the sliding weight was positioned. So the net change is a 4g reduction in the head... which should give me 2 swing weights (moving it from D2 to D0). Have a round planned tomorrow and will be putting it into play... results to follow 4 grams doesn't feel like a lot.. but at the end of a 46" shaft, I guess it makes a difference. Worst case scenario... I hate the adjustment and put the sliding weight back in. I did check my TSi3 head, and the sliding weight in that is the same (though just a little lighter... 7.75 grams - actually surprised at the variance... I would think that when dialing in weight, it should be spot on... but then... maybe that is why one driver feels awesome and another just doesn't have the same feel even though the specs are supposed to be the same. )
  22. My course uses Golf Genius. And I play with a group that uses EZ Golf League. Both work well for our needs.
  23. Fresh off your Ping Event, eh PM? I bet that experience was pretty incredible! What course did you play above? I'll add it on the leaderboard.
  24. Nice Foz!! 8 net birds!! So do you have one more round in you this week haha.
