  1. I wish I would have come across this post before I wasted my time and money with Club Champion. I won't go into it as this was my own personal experience and it doesn't reflect that of others, but I can tell you the experience was very poor and I have a useless driver in my basement. Next time this is the route I'm going to go. Thanks for sharing.
  2. Yes, the alignment aids are a bit busy, I could do without the back alignment lines.
  3. Thanks! I actually like these slant necks on these putters than on the Cameron Phantom or the Spyder X. To me, visually, from address, the Odyssey looks sharp.
  4. I added 3 Odyssey WH OG's to my collection. Sometimes the Cameron needs to be placed on "timeout", so I have a vast assortment of other candidates. Very nice feeling putters and well built, IMO, of course.
  5. SC 009 35/330g. This putter has been in my bag for a long, long, time.
  6. New member here and wanted to share my WITB. I haven't participated in forums close to a decade, but I recognize some tag names from days of old I have been retired since 2016 and golf is pretty much a daily staple in my life. My current set up is: Driver: TM SIM2 Max Woods: TM SIM2 Max 3/5 Irons: PXG 0311XF 1st Gen 4-9 Wedges: Vokey SM8 50/54/58 Putter: Custom Cameron 009 35/330g Thanks for taking a peek.
  7. Good luck and enjoy your new putter
  8. These are some pictures of Tom's restoration. The putter was in really bad shape and in need of some serious work. In order to compensate for the lost of headweight, Tom welded a long plumbers neck and added tungsten weights to the sole. The putter plays at around 330g. 8
  9. Tom does excellent work. He definitely puts the time and doesn't cut corners. Even his own line of putters is pretty good.
  10. Tom Slighter was my go to gent. I don't think he's doing 3rd party stuff anymore, but he did excellent work for me. He rescued a Made for The Tour Cameron Del Mar, which oddly enough Cameron refused to work on, and he did an amazing job. I'll post pictures some time. He also did work for me on other putters. A very talented guy. Is your putter and you should do what makes you happy. Anybody lecturing you otherwise should be ignored.
  11. I just got my TM SIM2 Max yesterday after a 12 week wait. The joke with my fitter was, hopefully I would get it before it became last season news. Even after 12 weeks they got the grip wrong. Go figure. Overall? It was a good experience. Would I do it again? Highly doubtful.
