I just seen your video on YouTube , halfway through it, looks like the harder balls(Warbird) wasn't doing very well, looked like you had to really hit them for them to go anywhere

Love seeing the wild turkey on the list. Now that is probably the most accurate statement someone has made on this forum.

Fun Fact a buddy of mine keeps four minis of some fancy whiskey that I can’t remember in his bag at all times just in case he ever gets a hole in one to share with the group.

LOL what is safe in my bag. This topic makes me giggle. NOTHING is safe in my bag. I am waiting on my new irons as I type this response. They should be here on Monday. I am reviewing drivers and can't wait to take a ride down the the PGA Superstore. I also have several options in my garage. I am following several shaft companies. I am reviewing my putting stats, hitting the sim, losing weight, reviewing golf balls, and any other product in my bag. I think my hybrids are close to getting scalped. I do love my BRNR mini driver, so that club is not on a hot seat. My putter has been good to me over the last 2 years, but I do like going to the PGA Superstore to try the new putter line ups. So I guess my BRNR is the safest, then my putter, then my driver.

I tend to prefer milled faces vs insert faces (although I did like the Ai-One.

outside of that, yeah mostly the shaft. My eye likes single bends, and I seem to putt well with slight toe hang putters.

an Ai-One milled SIX T is also on my short list.

I’m always interviewing putters, just to keep them guessing. Likely this years changes include 4i and 5i decisions vs hybrids as swing speed drops (age).

Hmmm.  Always been a fan of the rossie shape and design.  What will be the biggest difference woth the Scotty?  Just the shaft?

Nothing in my bag is safe, except the putter, gap wedge, and the ball retriever.

So I got home last night and looked in the trunk for the Mizuno wrench. Wasn't there. Then I realized where it was -- in the valuables pocket of my golf bag. Meaning I had it all the time and could have fixed the driver on the spot. Tightened the screw and the millimeter of wiggle is gone. But I will definitely have the wrench on hand next time I hit the driver, just in case. I didn't even think about playing The Cradle while I was in Pinehurst yesterday because of the wiggly driver, but then I realized last night that The Cradle is all short par 3s and I don't need any woods. Longest hole is 127 yards. I shoulda played it.
Sooo... assuming that the driver is fixed, it's safe. But maybe the 3-wood is in jeopardy. For a while it was pretty reliable off the tee (semi-straight but short), but lately I'm having real problems hitting it off the fairway. I'm more comfortable with my PXG 7-wood, so I might look at a PXG 3w.

Admittedly, I’ve been playing the same tees each time I replay courses. I will play 2 rounds at the same course from different tees, and report back. Great question!

Looking forward to my garage temps getting back up above freezing so I can get on the SIM again. @GolfSpy_BEN are you able to change tees on the Rapsodo courses and play the course shorter? It seemed like the yardages were the same even when I changed tees last time.

I actually played the Odyssey Divine Line blade putter until last year, I won a Scotty at an outing and put it in play, not really thrilled with it. I love the AI#1 blade just the way it is, I have a Super Stroke 2.0 on the Divine line Odyssey, it feels like a perfect match.
Stay warm and watch those single digit temps. I'm in the same boat you are, southwest Pa.

I will need a few days, I'm working nights until next Tuesday morning and will need to sleep sometime even though the testing and mini golf are more important 🤣. But I think it is a great idea Rob, I was just fiddling around when I made the mini golf video the other day.

I too have single digit temps and a wind chill at -7, but after some sleep I'm going to have lunch and play Augusta on the PS5 before some more practice.
    Enjoy the day MGS Nation!!

They are definitely a firmer ball. Never played one before. They were a gift. I'm sure if I were to play them exclusively for practice and a round, I could adjust quickly.

Wonder if the Maxfli SoftFli would be comparable to the Tour Soft performance wise, I have used both in the past and look forward to try out the new Tour soft.
