  1. I’m sorry to hear about your loss, best wishes going forward!
  2. Hi Spies! Been a minute as my mornings are generally chaos. The weather here is bueno, 17-22 degrees, golf is abundant, my bell was rung for a membership at the local course here so just figuring that out but unlimited golf seems great! Work is bananas, but it’s feast or famine so here we go. It has unfortunately taken my gym time away from me but we’ll get there. I hope everyone has a wonderful day, week, and however long it is before I get back here. Posting in this one always makes the day feel awesome!
  3. Let’s see if it’s true! Congrats guys, I hope they work well!
  4. Congrats guys! No riding in a cart and using the remote along side!!! really interested to see what these are like being a member of the push cart mafia
  5. Congrats! @warrenator8 @BringerofRain @Grip @NickyBobby
  6. Congrats Testers! @Bobbers @Northern Monkey @RTH1 @SDunne Also, Hi Bob! Had to say it
  7. +1 on wide brimmed hats, massive game changer. Live rocking these
  8. The cobra is the top dawg here, I used to play a cobra baffler 7 wood with the rails back when I was a junior. Thinking about getting back into a 7 wood now. Will more than likely be a TSi/TSr2 but they look like such a no brainer now
  9. Put two rounds down this weekend, both at Penticton G&CC. I’m actually up for a membership there this year and may take them up on it. Threw down a 77 yesterday, and a 79 today. Still quite cold up here, but the sun was out all day today to it felt nice on the skin. Greens are tough at this time of year but the course is in great shape overall.
  10. I’m toying around with adding a 7 wood just for softer landings on my longer approaches into the green. I’m a big pro fairway guy, but I can hit my long irons. Just hard to stop a 4 iron into a green
  11. The graphite design Tour AD-DI and CQ are fairway wood monsters!
  12. Love this! Best Purchases 1 Callaway Paradym Triple Diamond 2 Vokey SM8 Wedges 3 Lessons. Period 4 Sun Mountain Speed Cart V1 5 Bushnell Wingman Worst 1. Puma Fusion Soft Spike Shoes 2. Fujikura Ventus Black (I know, doesn’t make sense) 3. Cleveland Launcher DST Driver 4. Scotty Cameron Select Laguna 1.5 (Again, I know) 5. All adidas shirts The pumas word some of the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever worn, just beat your feet to a pulp. The Ventus was merely a terrible choice because I wasn’t fit for it. Same with the Scotty, although haven’t really liked the feel of a Scotty overall. The Cleveland driver is of a bygone era where my entire bag was Cleveland, didn’t want to spend a fortune on a driver, and didn’t want mismatching clubs, such a silly concept. Adidas shirts just feel cheap, I don’t wear Nike either and I guess it’d be the same thing.
  13. I second Wilson and Srixon/Cleveland. Wilson is showing they’re back this year, their new staff lineup of irons and wedges is impressive. Srixon should be recognized as a big dog with the others. Their line up is top notch, and Cleveland wedges are right up there. Cleveland’s putters are no slouch now either
  14. Not even a little bit, I play a DI in my 5 wood and MJ (CQ) in my driver. Neither perform how that charts says. Keep in mind, the entire GD Tour AD lineup is a “mid/mid” line. They plot themselves against their own benchmarks, not other companies. They’re unreal shafts if you’re fit into them, and generally you would be able to play anything in their lineup if you’re fit into GD.
  15. Unreal looking wedges, great find Jamie. Those faces are so nicely milled
  16. Absolute fire, are they designed to put your own grind on it also?
  17. Congrats testers! No excuses to “misread” the green now
  18. Congrats testers! Excited to follow this one, just damaged my 56 Vokey on Saturday so make me a convert!!!!
  19. Date 03/15/2024 Course Name Hamilton Island Gross Score 78 Course Handicap 0 Gross Strokes over/under par 7 Net Score to Par 7 Net Score 78 Net Birdies or better 0 Longest Drive 0 SIM Round? SIM Played a course in Australia, pins were in really hard locations, and of course the SIM had to do some SIM things like 1000 spin on full 60 degree swings, had some drivers that made no sense and read pretty wrong. Played better than the result but that’s a video game!!! I put course handicap at 0 assuming we’re still doing that. Played from the Black Tees
  20. Date 03/16/2024 Course Name Nk’Mip Desert Canyon Gross Score 84 Course Handicap 5 Gross Strokes over/under par 12 Net Score to Par 7 Net Score 79 Net Birdies or better 0 Longest Drive 0 SIM Round? This was the first round outside and the course just opened up, some good things, some bad. Wind was 30km most of the day and the first 5 holes were head on. Greens were still punched from the fall so nothing moved, also ended up hitting a buried rock under my ball with my Vokey and destroyed the leading edge… so that was fun. Had a guy pick up my ball in the bunker, then realize it could be mine annd drop it into a fried egg All in all, I was really happy to be golfing outside but this was certainly a pretty lousy round. Played from the Black Tees 4 FIR 5 GIR 3 3PUTTS 1 BIRDIE Sorry Partner
  21. That’s a pretty cool opportunity! Thanks Bridgestone! Canada next year
  22. I’m a pretty big fan of Chris Ryan, he really seems like an incredible tester. Jake Hutt golf is also really great as he makes these super catchy short videos with song for basic swing changes hahaha pretty great His hack it out podcast is hilarious. Great group of guys on there
  23. The island has some pretty awesome courses! I’m in the okanagan and would say we have the best golf in Canada but we do have to shut down for a few weeks in the winter welcome to MGS!
