As most have said...and they are right, the putter is the most used club in the bag. It makes up over 30% of the shots taken in a round.
I have played my Yes! Callies for over 15 years and only paid $120 or so for it. I look at the current prices of putters and get immediate sticker shock. I can see paying $400+ for a driver, but not for a putter. I have never been fit for a putter, seems a bit strange when I think about it. To me it is all about the feel of the ball off the face and how it aligns when standing over a putt. I can do that on the practice areas at PGA Superstore or at Golf Galaxy.
I think the most I would pay is around the $200 range.

I currently play the G400Max and am looking to upgrade. I have a PING driver fitting on Thursday, May 9th.....I might have a new driver!
Thanks for the review, I play almost all PING clubs.
A few weeks ago I got fit for a Callaway driver and the Paradym AI Smoke at 9* with a 65g stiff shaft was the verdict. I liked the club a lot, but the muted sound and the feel off the face was off compared to my PING. The distance was a bit more, but my G400Max is nearly 5 years old!!

Most of the time, an hour to get warmed up and putt.

Current driver is a PING G400 Max.
Why? Need a new driver!! I live this one, but getting old and worn out. Help a Veteran out.
Best drive...a couple of years ago I needed to hit a high fade over some pretty tall trees on a par 5. I smoked it and it did what I wanted. Only 175 out on a nearly 500y hole. I made eagle as well!!

Most of the guys in my Saturday group walk every round. We are all retired military and some active members. The courses in Oklahoma are pretty easy to walk.
How do you mark your golf balls?
