  1. Beyond 2 of the heads cracking, the numbers I saw from the Qi-10 and the LS were no better than what I was averaging with the Paradym TD that I was gaming prior to the test. I also found the TD to be a touch more forgiving. I had some really great drives with the QI-10, as well as some really bad ones. So the decision to send it on to someone, who may see better results with it than I did, was an easy one for me.
  2. Date 06/16/2024 Course Name Majestic Springs Gross Score 75 Course Handicap 0 Gross Strokes over/under par 4 Net Score to Par 4 Net Score 75 Net Birdies or better Longest Drive After getting my teeth kicked in by some of Virginia’s finest courses, I needed a get right round and the home course didn’t disappoint. 37/38 +4 75 32 putts with 6 lip outs, so the Evnroll ER2 that I recently added to the bag, is going to stay. Throw in a 35 footer for par on 1 and a 40 footer from the fringe for birdie on 10 and I am very pleased with the flat stick today. Another aspect of the game that has been a struggle, is off the tee. Enter the G430 Max 10k and those struggles have been largely mitigated. Today I was in the fairway on almost every 4 and 5, which makes this a much more enjoyable game.
  3. @GolfSpy_KFT lives in Reedsburg too. Small world, but welcome to the forum!
  4. Now that I have had a decent period of golf with no further equipment malfunctions, I can confidently say that that, while nice, the QI-10 family of drivers is not for me. With that in mind, I have shipped the head to @GolfSpy BOS and he will be adding his findings to the thread.
  5. They have been added. Congrats on the accomplishment
  6. While spending a week in Virginia, golfing, was good for my soul, it has played havoc with trying to stay on top of the weekly obligations for the VCT, not to mention keeping SWMBO happy... So, my apologies. Here are the results from week 6. I will have the results from Week 7 up tomorrow night, Friday, and then starting next week they will be released on Wednesday nights following the corresponding week. Also, a couple housekeeping items: If you are listed below, but not assigned to a flight, it is because I need a minimum of 3 scores to assign you a VCT handicap and flight. The grace period and my patience, is running out on those of you that continue to omit your course rating and slope. Starting week 9, if you do not add the slope and course rating for your round, you will not be eligible to participate that week. We continue to work with the developer on changes to the inputs and leaderboard, but it is taking considerably longer, than we initially estimated, so thanks for your continued patience. If you are not listed below, then please feel free to start adding scores weekly and once you have the minimum rounds posted, I will get you into a flight. Lastly, enjoy! 7. Results for weeks 6 and 7 should be up tonight.
  8. Cut line +4 Tiger’s score +6, misses the cut
  9. The US Open pick em’ contest is live:
  10. Congrats to the testers! I look forward to following along. Now the fun begins
  11. Well done Jason! It was as a pleasure meeting you in Kingsmill and I look forward to many more interactions over the years to come
  12. Congrats on the achievement! The broke 90 badge has been added for you.
  13. A detailed recap of each round I played would be tantamount to kicking myself in the nuts, repeatedly. So instead, know that I didn’t play well and instead check out the souvenirs I brought home The T shirt and head cover were courtesy of our visit to HQ on Thursday morning prior to the round at Royal New Kent. I also grabbed poker chip ball markers from Williamsburg National and Royal New Kent. They are the same on both sides. I grabbed these 2 metal ball markers from the pro shop for the River & Plantation courses, each has a smaller marker held in the middle by a magnet: Along the perimeter is the hole numbers, par for each, and yardage from the tips. When we arrived at the Woods on Sunday, I had hopes that I would find a similar style of marker to complete the set. Instead, this was the only one the had on offer: However, they made up for it by offering what may be my favorite item I grabbed while I was there: Made from what feels to be premium leather, I absolutely love the design and colors. As to the golf, I left Virginia a humble man, with a new appreciation for those that play their rounds on Bermuda grass. It wasn’t all bad, though and I had enough good shots and good company that the trip will be nothing but good memories.
  14. @StrokerAce won the MLM2Pro for being the closest to his predicted carry distances. @EasyPutter won the Mevo, that @sirchunksalot tested, for being the furthest from his predicted carry distances.
  15. As the forum’s self-appointed blade enthusiast, I wholeheartedly endorse this point of view. There will be naysayers that post after me, expressing all manner of opinion regarding what you should be playing, ignore them. It is all useless noise. None of them are swinging the club, so their opinion matters very little. If you find joy in swinging a blade, then I encourage you to continue doing so, until you don’t. I also firmly believe that hitting balls with blades will make you a better ball striker, as the alternative can be painful and it is basic human nature to avoid pain, when possible. I own a set of Callaway Apex MB’s and bring them out occasionally, to remember what pure feel like. Enjoy them!
  16. The rest of my game was wildly hit or miss, but I am pretty good out of a bunker
  17. My initial reaction to the first images was less than kind, but subsequent photos have softened my stance. Of the models, I’m interested in the GT-2 and will demo it when the opportunity presents itself.
  18. Scores are posted in the weekly VCT threads, as usual. The flights and weekly recaps will be be posted in their own thread
