I’ve recently been playing golf + on the meta 3 , the game has change must but I believe there was an added physics update (for a more natural swing ) . Like it was said before have a 3rd party wand makes the game more immersive . The wand is made of an iron like core, however there is another version that places the weight closer to the club head for a more realistic feel . So far I’ve been enjoying playing St Andrew’s and TPC Scottsdale for the 100th time . It’s also fun with the couple of competitive modes such as battle golf , basically a three hole match with random configurations based on in game rankings and handicap . Then there’s the weekly/monthly tournament where you get the play wherever the PGA is at the time and with similar conditions . All in All I’m having a great time .

Going to start walking courses instead of riding - Any advice?
birdiesandbags replied to brogies's topic in General Q&A
Never to Young for a pushcart , besides the cart I find walking tends to help keep your back loose through out the round . I typically started walk my 9 hole parkland style courses out in AZ , Now I usually stick to the flatter courses , can’t beat the heat in the summer . Typically I found I’m a much better player after switching . -
What Have You Bought Lately? (CHA - Club Ho's Anonymous)
birdiesandbags replied to hckymeyer's topic in The Daily
Went in for a ball fitting the other day , testing out everything from Pro V1, ZstarXV, ChromeSoft X , and Wilson Staff Model . To my surprise the Wilson Staff Model out performed the Pro V in my case given a lower spin off the driver and gaining extra 20 yards in carry distance . Has anyone else tried or played the Wilson Staff model ? -
Worked on Approach and short game (150 yrds ) , Today was a good day . Pitching could use some work , I was using an area by the chipping that’s measured in 5 yard strips using that to land 3 roughly same area and I probably did about 6 rounds

How long do you keep a pair of golf shoes?
birdiesandbags replied to JP Balajadia's topic in Breaking News and Debate
Currently have 4 pairs of spike less : Asics Glide, G?FORE MGX4X2 , and 2 Foot Joy Casual Comforts . I play probably twice a week. I tend to switch out my shoes about ever other round , so they usually last longer . -
I like practicing at my local muni , next to the chipping the grass is cut in 5yrd strips . Using that as a distance control for my Flop Shots . IMG_2562.mov

Music on the Golf Course?
birdiesandbags replied to Ron Folkinga's topic in Breaking News and Debate
I usually tend to play music at a reasonable level when I'm out walking/playing solo . Like most have mentioned when in a group ask first before blaring your jams . -
