  1. The Golf Guy's in Fort Myers. Hit about 80 drivers this morning and got a blister...now I'm wearing a glove, which I haven't done in about 4 years. Hit one 282 but it must have had an assist from the path. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  2. Just got back from getting fitted for a new driver. True Golf Fit had me in an M6 or TS2 but the fitting doesn't lie. I tried the PXG, Ping G410 LST, Mizuno 190, TS2, M5, M6 and Epic Flash. And the winner, which was a complete surprise to me, was the M5. We tried 50g shafts but found the Tensei CK 60g was the best and overall my spin rates came down with this combination. So here's the new weapon...they even put my Pure DTX grip on it for me. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  3. Welcome to the Oz family!
  4. I booked a tee time for Monday at San Carlos Golf Course in Fort Myers.
  5. 1 and 1/2 days and I'm on vacation until the end of the month.
  6. Congratulations ole gray! Sounds like a new wardrobe is in order.
  7. It's easier to beg forgiveness than ask for permission!
  8. He got the SAW too I see.
  9. Well, this one could go either way...you're getting a new car or you're getting a car repaired .
  10. I hope you're right, it was 9° this morning with an expected high of 19°. The weekend is supposed to get to 57° on Sunday.
  11. You're not wrong mate!
  12. Annnnnd, Chanins Rav bit it again. Brand new battery , drained. I believe a new alternator is in order, but I'm going to have my mechanic test it before I start shot gunning parts at it.
  13. My truck is back on the road...but my wallet is S M O K I N G!
  14. That WAS the non gold plated one. You wouldn't believe the price of those things when you're in the poo and need it back quick.I could have bought one myself cheaper but then I'd be buggered for transport for a week.
  15. Update, the starter was toast. $75 for a tow because even beating on the starter didn't work. $475 for a new starter and labour...not the way I really wanted to start the weekend, but she's alive to break down another day.
  16. What a night! Got a call from my wife when I was unloading a truck at Lowes last night to say her car had just quit and wouldn't start, just a click. So, being a good husband, I called the manager and said I had to bail because my wife was stranded, made my apologies to my team and bailed. Got to where she was and jumped the car, all good. Followed her home and when she was backing into the driveway noticed her headlights getting dimmer and the car quit again...oh well, at least we're home. I took the battery out of the car and went to Walmart to have it tested and possibly replaced because I bought it in November last year. Well, it was so low it wouldn't test. They said they'd put it on the charger over night and test it in the morning at 7. Great! Get into my truck, turned the key and nothing. Oh come on! I replaced the battery in mine last week. The battery has good power so I think it's either the starter solenoid, which you can't replace separate from the starter, or the ignition switch. Fortunately my neighbour is one of the best and he came and got me, brought me home, helped my get Chanin's car into the garage and drive me to my in-laws to get my MIL's car. Went down to Walmart this morning and the battery has a bad cell, so they replaced it for free. Chucked it in the car, cranked straight away, tested the alternator and it's good, so I got out of that one cheap. Now my tame mechanic is going to come to look at the truck but I'm thinking I'm up for a new starter.
  17. Easy, just use painters or masking tape. Do the wraps like you would using grip tape and blow them on.
  18. New belt to go with the shorts...well, any of my golf shorts. I got the black belt.
  19. I DIY but I blow them on. Stupid simple to do with the Pure gun. I re-gripped my all my clubs with Pure DTX grips before they went to Florida in January and it took about 30 minutes, with the longest part getting the OEM grips off the Bridgestones. When I re-grip next time it'll probably take about 10 minutes for all of my clubs.
