@Peaksy68 I'm quoting you again so this has some context.
While no one in my family is known for our scholastic endeavours, she got a 399 out of 500 and got at least 75% in every subject. I believe her ATAR was 74.6. She got into the University of Notre Dame in Sydney. Before the HSC she was offered a Bachelors in Arts but now that the results have come in she has been offered what she wanted to do which is a Bachelor of Secondary Education with Arts minor. From what she said I believe she was also offered some sort of a scholarship as well.
So, I'm one very PROUD Dad at the moment.
Congratulations @Peaksy68 I was informed by my Mum that my daughter "isn't telling anyone her results"...translation: she's telling my ex-wife's family but not mine. I guess 15 years of brainwashing will do that.
Yesterday I put down just over $1700 at Lowes. New fence and I splurged on a new dishwasher because the deal was too good to pass up. Almost $700 dishwasher for $350.
Absolutely. I'm just thankful that the insurance paid for everything we're getting done because of the one that came down. Now we have the winter to think about what we're going to do with the empty space after the stumps are ground out.
I'm happy today because I had the day of both jobs. The reason is we have finally gotten rid of the two pear trees.
I'll be replacing all the fence panels in the next couple of weeks to a new style.
After jonsing for an Evnroll ER1 I finally spoke to the guys there and they said it's not being produced any more. So, after talking to them a bit, I'll be eyeing an ER3 at 33" and 370g.
