  1. I can 't play May 19th because I'll be on my way to Victoria National, but I can play any other time.
  2. Happy birthday @fezzerino @twyatt700
  3. Today we went out to Sydney Olympic Park to the Royal Easter Show. That's like our version of a state fair and it's pretty big. Each district in the state makes these displays out of what they farm. So fruits, veggies, seeds, grains, wool etc. Then we headed over to the wood chopping to check that out. Connor and I went in to see some of the farm animals, that we were allowed to feed. They also have what we call show bags, which is the highlight of any kids trip to the show. They have candy bags and other bags that just have a bunch of crap in them, but no one cares. It was a long day and I think we're all pooped.
  4. Connor and I met my uncle in the city yesterday and we walked around looking at all of the older buildings and telling Connor about the history. I was the head bouncer at this pub in the early 90's. Sydney's oldest pub. No matter where you are, the distance to Sydney is measured to this obelisk. The Public Library of NSW. State (NSW) parliament house. Where the politicians screw up good ideas. Hyde Park Barracks. Built 1817-1819. Used to house the convicts and later a women's asylum. Centrepoint Tower. At one time, the highest building in Sydney. St Mary's Cathedral. Largest gothic cathedral in the southern hemisphere and also site of my high school. My high school. St Mary's Cathedral College. The ANZAC memorial. For the soldiers that served under the British in WW1 and WW2. A native Australian ibis, known by all as a bin chicken because that get into the garbage bins looking for food. Because we're a funny lot, we make coin holders out of kangaroo balls.
  5. If you put that on a meat pie you should be ashamed. Only what we call tomato sauce, which is our version of ketchup.
  6. Happy birthday @Snowmonkeys1310 @panhndl
  7. I'm a bit more budget and use a Blichmann 20gl kettle and a Fastferment conical.
  8. Yesterday I took the Minister and my son on a tour of where I used to live because it was raining on and off. Some of the places look exactly the same and some have changed, one not for the better. We ended the day having a late lunch of a meat pie...it was delicious!
  9. I wonder if they have the license for using the images they have, or if they're just using them without.
  10. Happy birthday @donald86 @bbeck757 @ajdegeno @JMcCann13
  11. G'day Dave. Good to see you mate, tell MH I said hello.
  12. Another busy day. We caught the train into the city and took a ferry across the harbour to Manly. We walked down to the beach and had fish and chips, with chiko rolls and dim sims. Saw some wild cockatoos there as well. Then we went to the Sydney Opera House (where I proposed to my wife 19 years ago). We saw this fella laying on the steps from the water.
  13. From what I've read elsewhere, it does not, it want's to follow the slope.
  14. Fairly certain I know where you saw this elsewhere and it's a good thread. I hope they play well but I play a bit better. I will cheer them on because despite what others may think, I'm not a Richard.
  15. Happy birthday @chisag @billybogey @Q22Golf @Raptor @losthunter453 @RonnieB
  16. I got the Classic Stretch Woven pants in the classic fit. They also have tapered, if you'd like. I'm 5'8' and 215 and they fit comfortably, although in a size 36 they only have a 32" inseam and I'd prefer a 30" but they're fine. They're a stretch material and absolutely not baggy. I think for $18, you can't go wrong giving them a shot.
  17. It's not bad but I hate the auto cruise and there's no way of turning it off. It seems to pick up cars in the other lane and slows me down even though there's nothing in front of me. Clubs did not make the trip because I'll be too busy running around trying to show my son everything. We went to the local shopping centre yesterday (it's currently 4.35am Tuesday morning). These are the two largest supermarket chains in Australia> Just a shot of one small part. Fresh fish anyone?
  18. Happy birthday @Girldad18 @Irish-Assassin
  19. I have a pair of the long pants that I wear for golf and I like them. They're comfortable and the size is right. I'm going to buy another pair for the cooler weather. As for their shorts, I'm going to buy a bunch of them but not for golf. I'm just transitioning out of cargo shorts.
  20. Happy birthday @tobybtlr @Shannon Severson @golfr007 @JaySavay
  21. We made it to Sydney, my first time back since 2009. Above the clouds coming into Sydney. This is my Mum's place and our chariot for the time we're here.
  22. Hi Greg. Check out the Ohio meetups thread. There's a few of us in NEO that meet up to play fairly often, if you're interested.
  23. Happy birthday @Samuel09152 @Emag315 @MonroeBob @epochsurf
  24. Mate, as soon as I started reading I kind of knew where you were heading. So glad that everything went well and you're going to be OK. I'd say see you soon as we head out today but no doubt you're not going anywhere and we weren't planning on coming to Melbourne.
