  1. Haven’t gotten mine from TM yet but went today to Golf Galaxy for a free ball fitting. I currently play the last gen TP5. Looks like I’ll be sticking with it. Between new TP5, Chrome Tour, Z Star and Bridgestone Tour Bxs. It played the best for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I don’t have them yet but based on the picture. It looks like you get 2 TP5, 2 TP5 Pix, 2 TP5x and 2 TP5x Pix Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Y’all are going to kill my phone and watch battery with this post, all these notifications. Such spirted conversations [emoji23]. Love it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Having been through it twice I’ve had a bit of both worlds. Bad: When I got fitted for a driver, every head didn’t feel right nor did the results turn out good. Everything had insane spin rate, and sky high launch. Causing a slice. It was at a Golf Galaxy and all the guy did was keep the same Ventus red shaft, then just adjusted the loft and weight in the club. One point I was had a 9 loft, adjusted down 3 and still had like a 24 degree launch angle. Come to find out the it was mainly the shaft as that’s a high launch shaft. Never once did he try different shafts. I basically paid $70 for a floor Associate to hand me basic drivers. I Left thinking I’d just wait to buy a driver. Ended up getting a good deal on a stealth 2+ with a motore X shaft. I basically bought a driver on my own with what I felt would work. The driver is fine, but just that. Good: I recently got fitted for irons, by a highly reputable local golf facility. I was skeptical at first just because he used the Mizuno shaft analyzer and I magically ended up getting fitted for mizuno irons. The JPX Forged to be exact. The second best iron was the MP 245s. But I liked the feel of the p770s. I left with my results. I decided just so I could be comfortable with getting the JPX I’d go to a golf store and just try all three again. While the feel of the 770s was super buttery, the consistency truly was better with the JPX. Also I think they have more feel. The 770s felt flush even on bad shots. The JPX let me know how I hit it. I ended up ordering them through Golf Galaxy and got rewards (so not where I got fitted). All in all I was extremely impressed with the process even in just the hour I had to get fitted. I’ve always played exclusively TM driver through putter. so to switch was a big break for me. I know golfec, Trufit and club champion are also great places. I just know, especially club champion, is big in up-selling shafts. That’s where they make most of their money. Even if you decide on a premium shaft go order elsewhere. That’s why they have the “$50 fitting (w/purchase)”. Fitting is always a risk, but when done correctly, I firmly believe every player needs to get fitted low through high Handicap. 5. Not a big “drinker”. For me it’s limited to Water, Liquid IV or an Alani Nu if I need caffeine. I don’t even like to drink coffee prior to a round for hydration purposes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Just got new irons, fitted for them. JPX 923 Forged with an IO shaft. I held off on getting a four iron. Trying to decide between the Forged 4 iron, iCrossover or the Fli Hi. Just need something at 21 degrees of loft. Hybrids are out as I’ve never played them well. It will fill the gap of my Gapr Mid 18 degree and the five iron. Just gotta go test them out. 7. Yes lol, even his drive gotta be 260s and it’s effortless. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I’m worried about them. Rory hasn’t been playing the best recently and he’s playing them. I’d be interested to look at his SG for Riv and Pebble. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. For entertainment purposes or tracking pros and their stats I like what YouTube has provided. However, for instructional purposes, YouTube can get you into the weeds and second guess everything. Same with TikTok. Only thing golf on TikTok I like was a guy that would hit at his range with some insanely smooth tempo. Could’ve put me to sleep it was so relaxing. 10. Used to use superstores. Found was losing strokes and switched back to a Lamkin Deep Etched Pistol. Feel I have more speed control with a smaller grip on a mallet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Rushing to buy a Stealth 2+ without a proper fitting because of a promotion they were running. The driver is fine but I’d much rather be fitted for a driver that’s mine opposed to a stealth 2+ with a shaft I thought would work well. Got the okay from my wife and was just excited to buy it….lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Rushing to buy a Stealth 2+ without a proper fitting because of a promotion they were running. 12. Have three trips this summer: 1: Near Mackinaw Michigan -Surprised by the lack of courses up there. Found a little muni-like course I’m playing in Hessel. 2: Destin -Looking to play Kelly Plantation unless someone could recommend a better course. Seems to be the only public course on any water. 3: Scottsdale - I have a work conference at the JW Marriott. My first choice is We Ko Pa but if I’m unable to book that. I’ll just play the Arnold course at JW. Any insight on Destin would be awesome! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Palmetto Dunes RTJ is a fantastic course. One of my favorite course, also plays wonderfully. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. The clothing is fine. I like the sweater hoodie in particular. Knowing any clothing from TM is going to be overpriced. I’d say the value of the brand is in the accessories. The headcover, hats and gloves look nice and probably won’t be overpriced badly.
  15. I’d recommend paid, shaft if way to important to be over looked. I did a fitting at Golf Galaxy and it was a waste of my time. Spent the entire time telling me my launch angle was too high, only for me to realize afterwards the only shaft he gave me was a Ventus Red. Ended up just picking a random Low-mid launch shaft (motore X) on my own and the stealth 2+….its fine but wish I had gone somewhere and gotten a true fitting.
  16. I for some reason have always struggled with woods and hybrids. Switched this past summer to a driving iron and love it. I am a bit biased towards them though. I’d also recommend the Brnr Mini driver if you’re looking for a low trajectory club. Mine is a 13.5 loft, with the weights set to higher launch, even then the thing still is low.
  17. Just a heads up everyone, I recently got an email from Taylormade. They’re sending “loyal customers” four ball packs of the new TP5 and TP5x to try out. My email was sent to the “promotions” folder so I almost missed it. Be sure to check your email folders if you order from Taylormade/have an account!
  18. Actually a LSU fan so that doesn’t bother me. I prefer higher quality football than the Big Ten . Congrats on the natty!
  19. I’m looking at the R10 and I can’t seem to find answer to two questions I have. Would love some help! 1. When you purchase a used R10 does the license for E6 transfer? 2. When using the R10 with E6 to a projector. Can you use the E6 software on a computer? Or do you need a mobile device? thanks to anyone that helps!
  20. I got my Hi Toe a while ago and love it. But if I could go back and get a MG4 for my 60 as well I would’ve. The spin I’m able to generate on it is wild, sticks to the green no matter the conditions. I keep telling people they’re slept on just because of how popular Vokeys are. I would say it’s all spin based with my recommendation, so for sure go and play around on some demos!
  21. Hello, I’m Max, I’ve been playing for about 16 years now. Took about four years off in college and have spent the past few rebuilding my game. Typically shoot around an 85. I love the constant progress that you get with golf compared to other sports. There’s never enough practice and play that can get you to get where you want to go. It’s about the journey rather than the destination. I’ve always used MyGolfSpy for reviews on equipment, just never knew this forum existed. Located in central Ohio. Don't have a specific home course as I am always trying to play a course I haven’t yet. Best thing about my area is the abundance of courses, however, weather is the biggest factor. Play Taylormade exclusively, mentally for me my bag has to be the same throughout. Currently play the following clubs: Stealth 2+ (on my second head….) Brnr Mini Driver Gapr Mid 3 Iron 5-SW Rocketballz Max (To all be replaced this month) 54 Degree MG4 60 Degree Hi Toe Row TP Reserve M21 Putter Highly recommend the MG4 and TP reserve putters. Also the mini is a lot of fun if you haven’t tried them yet.
