What kind of golf brush do you use?
Karls0991 replied to StrokerAce's topic in General Equipment Talk
Groove it for me. I have lost one, but I haven’t had that issue since. Maybe they fixed the magnet. By far the best brush I have used but I’m intrigued by that bootbuddy -
April 7 2024 Course: Rolling Meadows, 6000yds, par 70 Tee Time: 1:12pm Weather: 55, Windy One of the first sunny and not freezing weekend days in Michigan so course was packed and round was slow. Didn’t have it today, still fine tuning this new swing and kept pulling irons or hitting them long. Also was a complete mess off the tee once again. Need to get some outdoor range time with driver soon. Wa grateful to play with my buddy and be in the sunshine, all be it chillier than I anticipated.

Good morning! High of 57 here in Michigan and have an afternoon tee time booked at a course I have not played. Excited to not have to wear 4-5 layers of clothes today. First round of posting season!

Going to start walking courses instead of riding - Any advice?
Karls0991 replied to brogies's topic in General Q&A
I love walking! I have a bag boy push cart and it works great. I always bring it in case they say the worst 3 words in golf “cart path only,” even if my group is planning on riding. I also have walked with people in carts and it’s no slower as you walk right to your shot instead of waiting on others. My biggest advice is comfy shoes and def get breath under control before taking shot. I usually play better walking as you stay loose and are more in touch with the course. If my friends liked walking as much as me I would never ride! I enjoy the actual sport of golf -

Does anyone use the “Tiger” Scorecard while playing their round?
Karls0991 replied to Samuel09152's topic in The 19th Hole
I just learned about the tiger 5 this past weekend. I already use Arccos so feel like I don’t want to be focused on even more. I do think it’s a great system though. -

I finally ordered my dream putter. Went to the golf store last night for my final putts with each model to make my expensive decision. Was debating a broom but the regular just felt great. The DF2 felt way better to me than the Df3 even though I’ll miss not having the ball pickup. Hopefully won’t need it sinking all the putts, haha! Now waiting 5-6 weeks will feel like every eternity! DF2.1, 35in, 68 lie angle, Accra black shaft, 3 degree smooth grip.

Man I’ll take some of the negative AOA on driver. I sometimes get to 7-10 up -
Watched the whole video! Also saw the video with Riggs and didn’t know that was you! Great recap, glad you were able to play within yourself and had a good time. Def recommend a driver lesson, sometimes I feel like you need to beg your instructor to pull the driver, but just be insistent about it. Hard to score if you aren’t off the tee in a good spot.

Good Morning! Happy Easter to everyone! Wish I was having smoked meat today, y’all are making me jealous. Kids actually weirdly slept in today which was nice and just found their eggs and opened their baskets. Wife’s family is coming over around 10 for another Easter egg hunt and brunch. Then headed to my grandparents for some Easter dinner. No golf today unless I decide to hit some balls on the sim tonight. Have a blessed day everyone!

March 30th 2024 Course: Fellows Creek White Tees, 5993 yds, par 72) Tee Time: 9:25am Weather: 40° - Steady Rain all round The high from yesterday’s 79 came crashing down pretty quickly. Round was wet and cold and I couldn’t get off the ground. Hands were frozen and I could not putt. Had fun with the boys being mud dogs and not letting this round bring me down.
